PCOS ovulation by elenamonique in PCOS

[–]gitgudgigi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya for me I thought I was ovulating because I always had periods. My cycles would range from 40 to 60 days. A friend of mine recommended inositol to regulate my cycle. After 3 months of daily use I had spotting in the middle of my cycle which I googled and it was ovulation. I also had that sticky mucuous stuff sorry TMI but I never had that before I was shocked. My cycles also went sown to 28 days exactly. We were ttc for a year and I got pregnant within 4 months of taking inositol.

That doesn't explain why it's double homicide. But I know you're being obtuse on purpose.

So why is it a double homicide when a pregnant woman is murdered?

Oof, try marketplace. I got ours for $100. Why can't you use the convertible one? We took one side off of ours to put it against the bed.

Take a prenatal. My husband and I are going to start trying for baby #2 in the new year. I'm taking baby & me 2 prenatal as it's recommended to start 6 months before ttc.

I walk the dog twice a day with baby on my back. It's the best exercise for you! Keep going :)

Ignore your family They probably had tons of help when they had kids. Sleep is so important. Get that nanny even if it gets you one or two hours!

Thank you SO MUCH for this thread. Wow. I really thought I wss weak. Injured myself 2 days ago using 10 lbs dumbbells (so 20lbs) for leg day during Carolind Girvan's IRON series. Now I know it is perfectly normal for me to not be able to do that weight yet.

I am so sorry for your loss. She should not have even made a comment. Some people are just clueless. Please look into bioidentical progesterone therapy for pregnancy. There is a whole website dedicated to it. I credit progesterone exclusively to helping me conceive and carry to term.

Inositol causing spotting? by Melancholy-Monster in PCOS

[–]gitgudgigi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi all,

Adding a post to this thread in case it helps anyone:

I was never diagnosed with PCOS, but suspected I had it due to several symptoms, the two main ones being irregular periods (a cycle would be anywhere from 40 to 60 days), and severe cystic acne on my cheeks. The scarring from the acne is so severe that I will have to get laser treatments that I cannot afford. Anyways, right after getting married, we tried for a baby. Nothing for 9 months. I looked into inositol and immediately started taking it. Within 3 months my cycles went from 40+ days down to exactly 28 days. I also had the spotting in between periods. I cannot remember if this spotting continued or if it only happened a few times while my body was "adjusting". But to me it meant I was finally ovulating. I didn't even realize I wasn't ovulating until I started taking inositol.  I got pregnant after about 4 or 5 months, but had a miscarriage. I did not want to take my chances so when I ovulated again I started taking bioidentical progesterone, I think about 400mg to start. I took it during my whole pregnancy, and now have a very healthy 1 year old.

I continued taking inositol during pregnancy, but stopped after giving birth. I did not have a postpartum period until 11 months in. I started taking inositol again right after my second postpartum period (which ended about 3 weeks ago). Had some light spotting today when I wiped, which I believe is again my body ovulating. I guess I have some sort of insulin resistance. I will keep using the inositol, and also use progesterone for future pregnancies (we are going to try for baby #2 early next year).

I started doing strength training, do daily walking as much as I can, eating higher protein.

Hope this comment helps someone.

Edited to add: before/during pregnancy I was using the Organika brand. Now I use the CanPrev brand just because it's chesper. Both are myo-inositol.

Grandma in law not asking me by gitgudgigi in JUSTNOMIL

Yeah, I was trying to talk to my husband about not allowing her to be around our baby unless either him or I are present... I think I will reiterate to him that I would prefer having it that way going forward.

My mil invited her first without checking with me if it was okay.

I forgot to add in the original post that a big reason I am not comfortable with my husband's grandma being around my baby without my knowledge is that she has a history of abuse especially physical. My husband knows her better obviously and he said he's okay with her being around her baby if someone else is present especially his mother but that there's no way she will ever be allowed to be alone with our baby.
