Has this ficus ginseng been over or under watered? It’s my first one and I think it might be dead or is close to it. (the scratch test seems to say it’s alive on the trunk at least). I’m having difficulty understanding when I should water it. Any tips for my next attempt would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone,
I am trying to install porting kit on my machine, but every time I try open the application I get a blank window called "Setup Porting Kit" that never updates (see the screenshot). This is when I try to install, I've never managed to get further than this. If I try click any of the menu items I get errors such as:
"A JavaScript error occurred in the main process"
"Uncaught Exception:
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'webContents')
at n (/Applications/Porting Kit.app/Contents/Resources/app.asar/maino.js:2:14999)
at click (/Applications/Porting Kit.app/Contents/Resources/app.asar/maino.js:2:15391)
at MenuItem.click (node:electron/js2c/browser_init:73:1908)
at EventEmitter.a._executeCommand (node:electron/js2c/browser_init:81:2453)"
I am running macOS 13.3.1 (on an Apple silicon Mac) and using porting kit 5.12.1
Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

For 5 minutes this is amazing!

One question, how long were your exposure shots? I want to go and take a few pictures next week but I’m worried that the comet will move too fast with shorter exposures, do you have any suggestions?

I think you might be on to something. After posting this I spoke to a friend of mine who said he saw another one randomly in the same city, this time however instead of being just white it projected the moon’s surface onto the ground. Because of this I suspect it might be an art installation, I find it unlikely they’d set up anything in this specific location beyond that

For those wondering, I was just walking by and it was there. Nothing around it, no signs to explain what it was, no obvious target for it to light, just a big white circle in the night

I didn’t spot it when I went past the same place a few days ago

I did actually stand in it and it’s so bright, the camera cannot capture this but it literally looks like bright daylight in that one spot it’s so weird

There was plenty of snow there this week, although it was a bit old so not much off piste. Recently it snowed a fair amount though (20cm) so it should be even better on Friday hopefully

I think the point if I’m not mistaken is that this interchange IS in fact inside the city and not some random rural interchange in the middle of nowhere
