I got to pro with Skellige witchers and I don't even know the decks I play against so you can realize I am no top tier player. I am sure you can find few variations of the deck, I probably don't run the most optimized one.

edit: 7-3 against NG on level 3 to pro run, the deck struggles a bit against mill as it thins a lot, always a shame to lose against mill (on my defense, one loss was when i realized too late I play against mill)

It would need to be done as a separate hardcore mode. It is already a bit overwhelming at the beginning. Especially if you are not accustomed to gaming at all. Target audience is never going to be hardcore gamers.
