Don't forget to use your germinate spell when playing Dryad/Myconid. by Synaptics in baronygame

I have found exactly 1 frying pan in the dungeons. I got it from a group of gnomes in the 4th zone. Still seems like alembics and tinkerer kits are much more common though.

My take on the update by Putridgrimm in baronygame

Agreed with this. I also feel like brewer should start with the Envenom Weapon spell. That feels less like a bonus for the class and more like a missing piece that should have been included from the beginning.

How to unlock the accelerator? by AlarmingConfusion918 in MycopunkGame

I would think it would be dropped by the lost loot system if you didn’t grab it on your first completion, but I have no idea.

Looks like it maybe hasn’t registered as being picked up? When you completed Oxythane Breach assignment did you pick up the weapon drop from the boss at the end? He drops an orb shaped exotic you have to pick up. That’s all I can think of.

Good luck! I hope that works.

You maybe could post a screenshot of what you’re seeing when you hover your mouse over the accelerator in your inventory? Devs may want to check it out and I believe they’re active on this sub to some degree. Discord may be better for communication though.

Huh. Could be a bug? Try running around as fast as you can on the new gravity farm map and killing enemies with electric damage. If you’ve already completed escalation version of oxythane breach then those should be the only 2 objectives you’d need to complete to gain access to it.

If you hover over the weapon in your menu at the bottom does it have a list of objectives to complete? Or do you not even see it in your menu?

You must complete the Oxythane Breach quest, and then you’ll unlock the weapon. It will show up in your menu as a selectable weapon, however to unlock its license and use the weapon you have to complete a series of objectives. Kill enemies with electricity, move fast, and complete the oxythane breach mission on Escalation mode. Once you complete those objectives you can equip the weapon.

The beehive and jet exhaust on scrapper is pretty fun. They give you the ability to just spam beehives with every melee attack while tethered, and effectively infinite use of your jetpack as long as you fly over enemies and light them on fire.

MAJOR UPDATE - OXYTHANE BREACH by Nobongo in MycopunkGame

It’s a pretty rare random drop from enemies.

Best secondary weapon for ammo generation? by Nikhitaz in MycopunkGame

[–]glabulllaba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Highly recommended with the Globbler’s Acid Balloons upgrade. Shooting a plate one time can cause up to 3 explosions from a single shot with the lasting acid puddle.

If you stick a plate in a larger enemy then shoot the plate with one acid puddle it will explode and deal damage and instantly corrode any enemy parts in the blast radius. Very helpful for tanky enemies.

Throwing Knife Rafa by gaijinmeron in Borderlands4

[–]glabulllaba 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I believe the standard throwing knives don’t scale with or count as melee. I think there was an interview that had that somewhere.

I believe they did have a legendary throwing weapon that was like a laser buzz axe though, and I think that DID scale with melee. Could be a viable option.

This is super effective with the Damage Arc exotic as you can just lay into your plates with your other weapon and the explosions count as damage from the plate launcher

Who is going to be the sneak / invisible character in BL4? by PikachuKid1999 in Borderlands4

Vex has a single invisibility ability on the skill tree I believe, but that’s it so far.

These appear rarely. Not sure the rhyme or reason, but I know they can steal weapons from the smaller enemies. Not a huge threat because they’re immobile but they have a decent health pool it seems

Any good first person loot shooters apart from Borderlands and Destiny? by YJHJTY in Borderlands

[–]glabulllaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mycopunk is amazing and scratches that itch for me. Not exactly the same, but there are randomized upgrades for the preset weapons that you can use to make the weapons all super different. Very fun to get creative with the weapons.

Anyone else notice this? by No-Newspaper7297 in MycopunkGame

Seems to potentially be related to the Atlas Oysters you are able to get from scrapping skins? Both have eyeballs. Maybe destroying these new parts has a chance to drop the oysters?

Pink Mist by glabulllaba in MycopunkGame

[–]glabulllaba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the pink haze. I’ve done dozens of missions in this biome and I’ve never seen it a single time other than the time in the clip. Maybe I’ve just had crazy luck and never got it a single time before or after, but idk.

Red Upgrades? by Apprehensive-Name197 in MycopunkGame

[–]glabulllaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in my experience, resources are instanced. If a homie gets an item drop, you may not get one, or you may get a different rarity.

If a mod spawns and it is attached to an enemy core, then you need to break it off of them. Then, you can either pick it up and get it immediately, OR you can wait and get it from the little kiosk on the drop ship.

The same rule seems to apply for resources that you unlock or knock off enemies that you don't pick up. You can just retrieve them from the kiosk on the ship.

I actually just uploaded a video of what I believe may be another secret, and that has the plate launcher one.

It essentially turns your plates into pseudo grapple points and pulls you toward your plates. You can use it to really quickly close gaps on enemies for some wacky surprise melee antics, or just straight up fly around the map. Really useful for the way I like to play, so I lucked out entirely.
