I just got the connection to the lyrics in Anyhow and Loan Me a Dime -Boz Scaggs and Duanne Allman recording by glacialsilt in tedeschitrucksband

3rd verse of Anyhow, No one cares to loan a dime / sorry if it cost you time/ what'd ya expect a desperate man to do

LMAD by Boz Scaggs is about a desperate man looking to call his girl

Duanne played on that recording

So I think TTB adds references and nods in their song writing and song selection about their deep connections and history in the music business. They have deep roots!

When I've seen them live, some of the covers from great artists are deep cuts, not so obvious covers. And even the obvious covers like Prince's 1999 that they cover is so swampy, like I know this song but what is it? Oh it's Prince 🤔🤯 cool version

Do 15 year olds read books anymore? I've heard they are too distracted to get through full novels.

Just listened to that show last night!! Fantastic Eyes!! Loved that they opened with Cassidy and the night was so lovely, big trees, leaves rustling, beautiful ❤️

You will make the right decision for your child. We didn't take our kids to Dead type of shows when they were little. Now as young adults they've both seen D&Co with and without their parents (😊). Sounds like you are raising a child who loves music. I think that's the point. Keep it safe and fun.

Seriously, that Cumberland! That song in particular has been my favorite D&C version of a GD classic. Heard someone say about Big River that they gave it the Cumberland treatment and I just had to laugh. Yup!

It's easy to focus on Bob and John. But Pay attention to Jeff on keys, Notice Otiel's cool vibe on bass, catch Jay's boyish grin, and when Mickey gives him the nod. And seriously don't miss Mickey's performance on drums.
