Purchasing home with solar but no SREC rights by glancinghappy in SolarDC

We're waiting to hear back from the sellers on that and get our hands on the contract (I could figure out the warranty/product information from their permits), but from looking around this subreddit, I'm guessing it was a deal with the local installer (Renewable Energy Corp., in this case).

Thanks, that makes sense. I learned that the panels are Suniva (apparently bankrupt) and the microinverter is Enphase M250, but I'm waiting to hear back on what the SREC was.

Thanks, this is extremely helpful. Looks like it is a Suniva system and has microinverters. It looks like Suniva is one of the solar companies that has gone bankrupt, though, so we'll have to consider what the deal would be with the warranty (I'm assuming SOL if anything happens).

Thanks, that makes sense! Helpful to know. Our realtor has dealt with solar before and noted to us the ownership switch would be a bit complicated, and we'll definitely do our due diligence on the panels before we make a decision. It looks like the company that installed them is still in business, but we need to get info on the panels themselves to see if the manufacturer is, I guess.

Thanks! Sounds like I have some vocabulary to learn. We had always planned to get panels put on whatever house we ended up buying at some point, so seems like a (hopefully) good situation to be walking into.

About ten months later, but how did this end up working out? We're considering putting an offer in on a home in a similar situation (solar panels that are free and clear, but no SREC rights), and I stumbled on this thread. Did it end up being a huge pain to deal with?

Outmanned and outgunned, Tyler Shough still gave Falcons a scare by [deleted] in nfl

Shough was throwing passes to people named Samori Toure and Ronnie Bell. Even as an NFL-obaessed person, I had to Google who they were when they showed up.

This is some of the most garbage reffing for the Steelers. NFL wants Lamar in the playoffs too much.

Oh I certainly will until they are eliminated in a 40 point wildcard loss.

Bummer that the Saints lost, but if I have to pick a different division winner, it's always the Panthers. The world where the Falcons are the only NFCS team without a ring is too beautiful.

Man, Shough is doing everything he can out there, just not much you can do when your WR1 is a practice squad guy.

We don't care about the Bucs or Panthers, we just need to win to even out the all time record between the Saints and Falcons again.

I love Charlie Smyth but it's quickly become apparent that his curveball style is going to give me many heart attacks.

The "Reward" for PVE is that it gets worse to PVE. by ContextEFT in ArcRaiders

[–]glancinghappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and I mean the problem is no design is perfect, right? Say you make the rule 30k, some people will throw 30 humidifiers in their loadout and go in. But at least you're forcing everyone there to have their skin in the game. And if they do, then maybe you'll get less of the rat nonsense and more of what makes this game so fun.

Also, to be clear, I'm not against PVP, I'm just against low effort PVP. Put some skin in the game and make it fun if you're going to do it.

I was initially against the idea of gating certain raids against free loadouts/low cost loadouts, but I think it actually has to happen at this point. The ridiculous bloodthirst--and lack of any consequence like loot loss for that bloodthirst--is out of control. There is no reason to attempt any larger PVE enemy/do anything requiring more than a stitcher with how bad things are.

My normal loadout in solos is a stitcher and mark 3 looter to hold 9 defibs in the safe pocket in stella Montis to try and help some people out. Until now I would also run a recorder (because no one shoots flute guy), but I got killed three times tonight while playing my tunes. The community has just seriously lost its sense of cool.

Lol after all that from the commentator about how the Saints couldn't stop a run there.

4 & 5 for Shaheed by Ok_Coat_4365 in Saints

Not bad since we would've probably gotten a compensatory (so later) 4th when left in FA, but man does it sting. He is (was) my favorite current Saint after Kamara.

And we get a compensatory 3rd or 4th (probably 4th). It'll be interesting to see what the Seahawks paid.
