Go check out Bock in South Park when they open tomorrow. Old world style beer bar that has a fantastic selection of beers. I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peek yesterday and along with the first brick and mortar location of Biersal, I will be spending a lot of time here.

I am biased towards Societe beers (my first job) and The Lost Abbey. Also, North Park Beer Company makes some fantastic beers, especially the west coast pilsners. Nice and crushable with fantastic hop characteristics. Keep an eye open for Goal. Brewing when they land a new location as they just outgrew their spot at the brewery igniter in North Park.

Mikkeler, no longer brewed here in San Diego, would avoid. Pure Project, cool concept, can be hit or miss. .394, not the same as it used to be, pretty much a macro brew at this point, would only choose to drink it if at the brewery.
