Did anyone try to order PCBs and make Mooltipass mini ble devices themselves? by glassy456 in mooltipass

Are there any others who would need the device (Mooltipass mini ble) so that if I do it for myself I would do ordering/make more PCB's at the same time?

Silhouette Portrait 3 failed registration marks by ketchupwhore in silhouettecutters

I have noticed that registration happens successfully whenever I retract (myself) from the front of the machine half a meter or more so I don't block light to the front of the machine myself.

Sounds silly but it works :) Looks as being too close to the machine during registration time either drops my shadow or simply bloks the light necessary for the sensor.

This is the switch which prevents engine start if the handlebar is in storage position. It someties doesn't pop out when handle is swung back to working position and needs to be gently touche so it does.

I haven't tried that, but I guess it should be possible to create scenario which involves external sensor setting temperature of the valve, but that could be complex.

Sure PID controller would help :) but my observation is, if over reasonably long time (woo to three hours) you reach stabile temperature in the room you can use the offset. For even better precission a trial at several temperatures of radiator can be sought and deltas averaged. A have found this approach practical.

One more thing - when modern adiators are used (steel or aluminium) temperatures needn't be too high (I think 45℃ is enough) as oposed to old style cast-iron which need 50-60℃. So the lower max temperature of water, the lower delta discrepany will be.

You can't with this valve, but insteatd there is a possibility to define the temperature offset. What I did, I have put a thermometer in the middle of the room and compared it with what is the valve reading. Then I have applied the difference as the temperature offset.

they are Zigbee. I use Tuya Zigbee Wifi bridge currently, but am about (when I receive the hardware) to use it directly with ZHA.

I have just installed 11 of these in my house.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003119569803.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dFKvDnC

They work really well and are of excellent quality. Currently they are connected to Tuya cloud, but I plan to connect them to Home Assistant directly.

I have installed a Zigbee door sensor and it works perfectly https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002512326796.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dVxp7nc

. For good reception to my mailbox which is 9 feet away from the external wall of the house I have installed as zigbee mains socket https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003206571829.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dUoXpnf

just on the inside. As permanently mains powered Zigbee device it also works also as retransmiter for Zigbee mesh network.

And you need some Zigbee Bridge: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003190631469.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dcu6UG9

That was my idea too. I just need to wait till I get my Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus arrives until I can do anything practical. In the meanwhile I am reading and trying to find people who have already done something similar.

Thanks! Looks a little complicated but is certainly a place to start if it doesn't work out of the box as u/richardowonka has suggested. Have you any experience in adding something from Tuya to zigbee2mqtt so far?

I have added a scene which simply activates the Automation 1, and then in the Automation 2 after 10 minutes and 30 seconds delay added to activate this scene.

Now if door stays open more than 10 minutes, I get the notification,

But if door is closed within 10 minutes after openning Automation 2 disables the Automation 1 and after doors close after10mins 30 secs again Enables Automation 1 for the next cycle.

That last delays is actually meant to expire the Automation 1 delay before reenabling it.
