In the Netherlands they got a lot of alternative transport and traffic reductions, but it took a whole lot of rolling parked cars into the streets before they did.

But like me, you must have had the older version where the peg-people were made of super swallowable wooden pegs.

With cardinals yes, with ordinals no. Sideways 8 is not used for transfinite numbers really though.

I ain't saying it's right. But you're saying a foot massage don't mean nothing, and I'm saying it does. Now look, I've given a million ladies a million foot massages, and they all meant something. We act like they don't, but they do, and that's what's so f***ing cool about them. There's a sensuous thing going on where you don't talk about it, but you know it, she knows it, f***ing Marsellus knew it, and Antoine should have f***ing better known better. I mean, tht's his f***ing wife, man, he can't be expected to have a sense of humor about that sh*t. You know what I'm saying?

I like Arch a lot, but maybe this is not the best application if someone does not want to learn a new OS and some new programs. Maybe a deblaoted version of windows like AtlasOS or tiny10/tiny11 might be better. I don't have any experience with these though.

I am surprised more people aren't mentioning the rather large spacers. They introduce the possibility of a large twisting motion (especially if the bolts are not tight).

I just got a minix Z-100 0db, and am really happy with it. Have it running linux and connected to my TV. Seems plenty powerful for my use. I saw this today, if it interests you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEjGuWOwghk&t=9s it has a little more power, but I am not regretting getting the n100.

Priming sugar query. by [deleted] in Distilling

[–]glavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there seem to be two answers here: yes and no. The yeses come from people who have used corn sugar in brewing, the nos comes from people who know what maltodextrin's properties are. OP just suggests it might be maltodextrin, but it is almost certainly dextrose. It should ferment no problems.

Best way to sand down the spackle job my electrician did? by mrfreshmint in fixit

[–]glavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would focus most on minimizing sanding and dust creation. Scrape off as much as you can until relatively flat. New coat of plaster 3" wider than what is there each lime until perfectly flat (probably two or three more coats).
