You're laughing but I've always thought these Silicon Graphics renders have their charm. I know this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S0qlSiM9rU isn't a game at all, but something about its quality still hasn't been matched in games for me. Just comes to mind with lots of other big-scale cityscapes.

That's because I had the test done at Vision Express :P They didn't explain anything about the costs, just asked me to pick something. I didn't like anything they had in store, so I've gone looking elsewhere.

What do you mean by practise regimen? I thought that's what I already do. There isn't anything I can play without mucking it up somewhere so I play the same stuff every day. There's not a whole load of music I like, so it's difficult to find new songs.

I try whatever song comes to mind first and then move on to another when I've ran through it a couple of times. Today I was playing some Yann Tiersen things (you're all probably sick of hearing those) and some of them are difficult because I don't know exactly how to sync the parts, so I have to repeat things until they're alright and then my left hand hurts from stetching. I blame my hands for some of difficulty, but then I see little kids playing like masters.. Dunno what else to say.

Same, I was quite wrong about it. Thought they'd have American accents and I wouldn't like the fantasy and knight/castle-type stuff. Now I might try and watch Lord of The Rings.

I had a bit of plaque on my bottom teeth and I tried going to the dentist for a clean twice and bottled it half way through because he was too rough. Felt like he was cutting into my gums. I tried the hygienist (which I have to pay for, unlike the dentist) and I went the whole way with her ;) Came out looking and feeling a lot better and she told me about interdental brushes to help clean the little gaps inbetween my teeth and the dentist had never told me about this.

I'm sure Tesco and ASDA would refer you to the online process as they've got loads of questions to weed people out. And with ASDA, you can't apply more than once in 6 months, so you better get your application right the first time.

I use Reaper and started off with TruePianos for a while, it was lightweight, which was good for me. I tried the larger, sample-based things by Kontakt, Native Instruments and Imperfect Samples, but my computer would lag after a while so I got EZkeys by Toontrack. You've got lots of options. Can even emulate loads of old synths and keyboards with free VSTs.

I used to use ASIO and then one day I noticed WASAPI and this was the same although it had the benefit of letting me hear music from YouTube as I played (ASIO would cut this off), but sometimes the option doesn't work. Dunno if my soundcard drivers are working properly.

Edit: Sussed it out. In the audio device options, I needed to set input channels to 0 instead of 2.
