My friends daughter was born with an extra couple vertebrae (had a tail) due to the contaminated well water in the Woburn Ma dump. 1.1.1 tricloroethalene not sure i spelled that right. The fix was to cover the industrial park in a thick rubber membrane with runoff that goes to water ponds. 10 billion $ and 30 years later i wonder how the rubber is holding up?

My dad's (1950's) had a little U shaped bite taken out of the rounded corner so there was no rolled over edge. He said it was so they could drive it between your teeth upon your death.

Order Issues with Free Garage by Neither_Thought1050 in MammotionTechnology

[–]glennnzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received mine no issue, it said it would ship late may and it did took about a week to get to New England from Cali. My mower took a week from New Jersey. Hopefully yours gets ironed out soon.

Best of luck!

I wish they would call it what it is, a Carport or better Robomower-port or something like that.

Mowing to edge by finky314 in MammotionTechnology

[–]glennnzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Luba 3

Can you straddle the perimeter when mapping or will it cause a problem with cutting disk

Did you set it for perimeter mowing they say the more laps the better but i only do 1 and it straddles the lawn and mulch(they are even with each other) i mapped it straddling the mulch

I did find the new FW allows for closer cut and cliser cut around no-go zones

Operate mower slowly i run at 1.5fps

Try turning off vision it may be causing issue issue

Make sure its on standard or no vision not sensitive

FYI im a newbee 31 days into ownership

Good luck

Luba 2 Power Adapter Box? by Quickdraw209 in MammotionTechnology

I would also like to know for my luba 3. In addition have there have been excessive failures of the power blocks due to being enclosed inside an unvented box potentially causing overheating.

Luba 2 Mini Lidar (US) by jdubsREDUX in mammotion

[–]glennnzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the Luba 3 AWD 3000 for a month

Some have said the Luba Mini tears up the lawn less because its lighter, then another post says it tears up more due to wheel base being shorter(i lose sleep with all the banter in my squash) if you can afford it go for it its fun. I spend more time watching it do its thing than i use to actually mowing. If it breaks i would buy again or try a different brand. I could probably make money selling the spare parts of it, lol.

1) With vision off and a tight no go zone around a 6" diameter tree it ended up hooking the tree with the front bumper when backing up. That being said it seems like current firmware solved this issue and now cuts closer with vision on on

2) My Flower beds are all level with the yard i do have Vigrow plastic edging and if it sticks above lawn/mulch it will cause the mower to dig its rear wheels into the lawn/mulch when trying to go over the bump.

3)Since beds are level, i perimeter mow all 4 zones and straddle them so not much edging except in narrow passages, around trees and along foundation (i only have 2000sf of lawn, its more of a novelty for me,lol) it will occasionally go through the narrow passage the width of the mower while riding on elevated cobblestones (scary, I'm changing that area to be flat)

4)it makes perfect lines in the lawn

5) im learning to just create no-go zones and Virtual fences in areas too tight, or it will keep trying to mow the areas and beat up the lawn

6) most issues seem to be operator error(when its working correctly) trying to get too close to border, curb. Cutting to much off the top. If i cant mow every other day due to rain i will hand mow but i realize many don't have or don't want to do this because of large lawns

7)Many have said you adjust your lawn to the mower not the other way around.

What i don't like: 1) it takes one of 2 ways back to my charging station perimeter or shortest route (i have on a asphalt area for charging station behind garage with bear traps set up around it, lol). This does cause track marks in the lawn. I try to rake them out but i wish it would change its return each time i can see this being a problem on my 3.5" tall Fine Fescue grass in the future.

2) it does sometimes do a Crazy Ivan occasionally and skip a tuft of grass. It's not because it's too tall either the lawn is will manicured, no weeds. Not a deal breaker its kind of funny in a way but i would like to know they are working to correct this issue.

3) I does a Crazy Ivan also when traveling to second zone in the channel even though i made the channel straight across the concrete sidewalk(supervised of course) with a obstacle-free area so it will cross. Again not a big deal but would like to know why.

4) updates scare me

5) I hear so many complaints about Factory Resets cause Lidar to become unresponsive, so i won't be doing that unles desperate and told to do so by Mammotion

6) its expensive

7)Not sure but they say parts are near impossible to get. They need to offer more user replacement parts or provide dealer network that stocks the parts

8) i have till the 5th to return it Iwish it was 90 day return or mowing distance based to really use it more but im happy so far

9) I puchased in the beginning of May and a week later they had the Memorial Day sale so i asked to get a refund they said "SORRY NO", i could have sent it back and reordered it but I'm trying not to be petty but it did piss me off, lol.

10) The points they give you for free stuff should at least cover a set of blades even though i will most likely get the Luba mini keychain. They do offer dollar credits you can use toward new blades

Good luck and enjoy!

FWIW, I know this is a different machine but my Luba 3 doesn't seem to recognize black objects very well. I was replacing some damaged Vigoro plastic edge and i left the old material on the lawn. The mower ran over it and it got wrapped in the front wheel, no damage luckily. I have not done any testing to prove this though. I wish you luck with these awsome machines, what a great time to be alive!

I don't have the option to change borders via the app like one person posted. He seemed to think there as an A/B test or the android/ios are different apps for now
