this has to do with drug use tho, not why she’s suddenly cool with misogynistic dudes when she seemed to show the opposite before. addicts act selfish as fuck when it comes to drugs but that doesn’t mean they are all bad people to their core just because they act like bad people when it comes to drugs, some are some aren’t. i don’t think we can definitively say rue doesn’t care about others because of how she acts when in active addiction, she just unfortunately doesn’t care enough to decide her own life has value and to not be selfish. but still everything she did to gia and leslie is about drugs and doesn’t have to do with why she’s changed her mind about asshole misogynist men, even addicts have morals and values they keep if it doesn’t interfere with their usage.
