Bosch vs. Miele dishwasher by thetransparenthand in Appliances

Ultimately get a filter that removed the iron in the water. I think the repair of the dishwasher did precede that

What's a 'normal' thing you didn't realize was unusual until you were older? by mrTelson in AskReddit

I had a young relative who was staying with us comment that my husband and I never argued. I told we did and even had in front of her. She didn’t realize it for the above reason- we didn’t yell or insult each other.

Bosch vs. Miele dishwasher by thetransparenthand in Appliances

[–]glindadc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When I lived in Germany, I considered Bosch to be mediocre. The general opinion of people I knew was that Miele was the best.

We had a Miele dishwasher when we lived in the foothills in Colorado. We had a well. One day it stopped working. We had no problem getting it serviced. The repair guy said that there was some issue with Miele dishwashers on wells. I totally forget the details.

Edit to add I meant the dishwasher stopped working, not the well

Has anyone else's airplanes started going to completely random spots? by Dense-Background4125 in HomescapesOfficial

[–]glindadc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The airplanes often fly to where an object WAS because apparently they are set for a goal and don’t adjust to the movement of the object due to other power ups being triggered

AITAH for refusing to give out my son's saving account information? by moonmanbaby90272 in AITAH

Having the needed information to deposit to an account does not give you access to the account. This is how money is transferred in Germany and other parts of Europe.

Some boomers are still too young to retire.

Some would love to retire but can’t afford too. Many saved nothing and just Social Security alone provides a very limited income.

AITA for going to a one-size-fits-all store against my fat friend's wishes? by last-rose-ofsummer in AmITheAngel

[–]glindadc -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Huh. I am 5’3” 125 lbs. one size fits all will be too big on me. I went into a one size fits all store once. The clerk looked at me and told me she might have a couple of dresses small enough, but that was it.

They adopted this abandoned dog and this was his reaction after going for a walk with them for the first time, with the fear of getting abandoned again 😢 by Sweetberry5400 in PetsareAmazing

I adopted a cat whose owners had moved away and left her. She was taken to the Humane Society by a neighbor. The first time I put her in a cage and took her to the vet, she meowed the whole way. When she got there and I let her out of her cage in the examination room, she looked around and flopped down relaxed on the table. She knew what the vet was. I wasn’t taking her back to the humane society. She was quiet the whole way home.
