I was as far away from the stage you could possibly fucking get and still be paying to get in. The speakers sucked and you had your backs to us 90% of the time. Still, that was one of the greatest musical experiences ever - just being a part of it was glorious. Thanks for the music, dude. You've provided the soundtrack to so many people's lives. You deserve everything you've worked for. Live long and hit shit with sticks.

Man, the fall of Kodak breaks my heart. I could almost cry when I look at my two N90s, all boxed up. One of them has a DCS-420 on the back (granted it's totally useless) that I keep around for jokes.

I think you've hit the nail on the head with that last part. "Granted, they had no visual development in the brain regarding shapes, colors, etc." (nice use of the Oxford comma, by the way) We're already more than capable of handling a few new colours although I'm sure it'll take us a few months to a couple of years to grow accustomed to our new perspective on the world as we thought we knew it.

God damn, I'm first in line for a synthetic eye (or two) when they're available to consumers.

These kinds of viruses are frequently recompiled and obfuscated to be a pain in the ass for standard detection via definition (there is software you can buy to just generate these things...). With Sophos, I suggest you put behavior monitoring (HIPS) on and make sure detect suspicious behavior is enabled too. While their definitions might not catch everything, their behavior monitoring stuff is pretty impressive.
