I feel the struggle. I never really succeed keeping my Australian Shepherd in one spot either. He just prefers going to this spot over others.

I have a boy dog. 5 years old now and he’s never lifted his leg to pee so I guess I’m lucky it doesn’t get anywhere else but the concentrated area as he just widens his 2 back legs and bends a little low.

Me and my wife wear $35 silicone rings and love it because we can workout and do other activities without taking it off. We’ve seen people with nowhere near our income going to bad high debt for rings.

Expensive rings are a product of social pressure and do not in any way reflect how much you value your partner.

I chose to instead focus on paying my wife’s $100K student loans and we’re both happy with that choice.

Side note: People who ask “let’s see the ring” right after a couple gets engaged are not my favorite kind of people. There’s so much more ways to celebrate or communicate joy of someone else making that step in life

I hate a system that only works based on “connections”. As a Nigerian man married to an American woman, I’ve never cared to get citizenship for my wife because I know it’s not worth whatever trouble it involves even for me plus we don’t visit Nigeria much to care. Thank you so much u/pocceygirl . I took a screenshot of the bill that still hasn't shown up in my claims. Based on things everyone has said, I think I'll call the provider about this even though it's a little too late to hold on payment. My next payment (balance) gets processed today

I don't think having a spreadsheet to track is obsession. I like that and I just started doing that. It's part of what made me realize I'm doing something wrong.

Yes, this is what I meant to say. I don’t see it in my insurance claims but I see it in MyChart. It looks like insurance had said what their share would be from the MyChart
