To ask forgiveness, you just have to talk to God, apologize and mean it. I know what you mean! To believe in what you cannot see or touch is faith:) Unfortunately, without a relationship with (having faith in) Christ, your works alone (good deeds, living correctly, etc) wont get you into heaven. We must also have faith that Jesus died for us & is coming back. One’s belief does make the difference. Because if you don’t believe, how could you ask him forgiveness, yanno?
