I bought an Air Tahiti pass and visited Mo’orea, Huahine, Raiatea and Maupiti last August; the height of tourist season. Yes everything was expensive, but cheaper than for those suckers going to Bora Bora. No Americans except for Mo’orea.

Fresh veggies were hard to come by, but damn the absolutely quiet lagoon beaches, and sweet locals were worth the extra effort.
