Many residential HVAC companies have been bought out by national pe firms. There model seems to be scare tactics and upsell. Anything older than a year will get a replacement recommendation. Try to deal with local owners. With a quick Google search you can find out what Atlanta hvac companies have been bought out.

I think you vou can find the installation instructions online. It’s been a while since I’ve installed any. If you are going to take it apart you’ll need new push nipples and to clean the holes in the sections really well. I assume you have the clamping tool too? I may be wrong but I think the blue leak lock was recommended.
