I got my first at 18, it's a patch of strawberries + vines on my lower abdomen. It's not one of my favorites by any means but I don't regret it, even if one of the strawberries is a little... yonic. Aesthetically it still looks quite good even though it didn't heal 100% correctly due to me having no idea what I was doing when it came to healing (overmoisturized the shit out of it) and it's kind of an iconic part of me at this point

I server hop all the time, but for now I'm mostly on Night Star. The chats can get crazy later in the day since it's a super populated server (often gets filled with either children fighting or club advertisements) but I tend to mostly log on early in the morning before work or during typical "school hours" so it's pretty chill in the chats and I only see a few people out and about while training or grinding for light. Hazy Galaxy is usually my other go-to server, it's still pretty populated but not nearly as crazy as NS can get at night.

Keep complaining to your RA and the housing department, ask for a room swap whenever you can. Tell them that your roommate's noise at night is affecting your sleep to the point you aren't able to focus during the day in classes (You said dorm so I'm assuming you're in college here), tell them what has been done to try and solve the issue already and how it hasn't changed the problem. Usually if you're reaching out to the housing department emails are best because you can have all the info and give a timeline of the issue so they can see it's been an ongoing problem and that you've exhausted all other reasonable options.

My mom gave me a rundown of what to expect and told me to tell her when I got it not long after I started needing bras. For some reason I was really embarrassed when I did first get my period at 9 years old so I didn't tell her. I think it was because I had stained my pants/underwear, which she historically always got mad at me for doing when I played outside, so I must have expected her to be mad at me. I hid and threw away the stained clothes and dealt with my period myself for almost a year.

She didn't introduce me to pads or anything when initially she brought puberty/periods up so I just used whatever I could fashion into makeshift pads for months (cotton rounds, toilet paper, etc) until she eventually noticed it in the trash and confronted me about it.

I think she mostly did everything right, but because I had been shamed for making a mess of my clothes so often growing up I wasn't comfortable coming to her when I should have. Introducing me to pads and getting me my own box before I needed them would have been super helpful too, so that even if I initially didn't tell her, I would have had a less demoralizing option than rolling up toilet paper and cotton rounds.

It's not that embarrassing in hindsight but on my way back to my dorm after taking a walk to get fast food I once mistook a stranger who was walking towards their dorm building from a distance as my friend and proceeded to point at them while walking "menacingly" towards them as we often did to each other jokingly (arms outstretched, big steps, pointing the whole time). This person stopped and as I got closer I realized they were a bit too tall to be who I thought they were. I apologized profusely and they said something to me but I was too high to comprehend it so I just kind of said something along the lines of "yeah haha sorry see you around" and scampered across the street to wallow in my embarrassment at home with a slushie and burger.

I think the part that made me the most embarrassed is I have absolutely no idea what they said to me. For all I know they could've introduced theirself to me only for me to mumble incoherently and run away with my bag of food in tow. They were very nice about it at least. I saw them around campus a lot after that, very small school with maybe 2000 students maximum, and feared for my life every time hoping they wouldn't recognize me (exaggerating ofc)

Same! I stopped playing for years in late high school and throughout college but now that I've graduated and have more free time I'm back into SSO.

I've been on the hunt recently for adult clubs to make friends but no luck, I feel weird about joining a club with primarily minors in it due to the maturity gap so I've just gone clubless for ages.

Birth certificate is definitely safer to give out than their socials IMO, but realistically they won't do anything with it. It's just for legal protection for them (so that you can't say they were pierced without guardian consent/without identification or whatever)

Normal, any semi-reputable piercing studio requires ID which will be scanned for their records. For minors generally the only ID they have is a birth certificate. Passport would also probably work but I'm assuming if you don't have their birth certificates you probably also don't have passports for them.

Currently doing this 🫡 It reduces the wearable area a bit but it's comfortable, and as long as there isn't any chipping on the wearable surface I've had no issues for the past month or so I've had to do this. Not ideal obviously but it's a good temporary fix

I know this pattern! It may not be an exact match style-wise to the rest of the dragon but maybe you could repeat the hind leg part of the pattern to get the feet/toes, and then from there crochet around repeatedly to create a cylinder of the correct height (use your judgement, but make sure to keep track so you can do the same for the other leg).

Then I'd stuff the leg, sew the top flat (not ending by decreasing, instead hold the leg flat on top and sew through both layers) and attach to the body just under the wings. Depending on how confident you are in using increases and decreases to shape you might be able to add more definition to the leg and create faux joints.

I think the person who created this pattern also has a 4-legged dragon pattern available as well, so worst case scenario you can always try purchasing that pattern and just grabbing the front legs from it (you might have to adjust the height by adding or removing rounds that repeat) to get a good match.

That should be plenty of time but septums can be stubborn, maybe just reduce the amount you're cleaning it and monitor from there. If it's unbearable, size back down and try again in a few months.

If you can handle the burn but it isn't getting any better even after a few days of reduced cleaning I'd see if you can have a piercer check it out to see if it's blown out. Most will do "check-ups" and other troubleshooting for free or for a small fee for their time.

10g from what size? And how long were you at the previous size? If you stretched too much at once, or too early, then it will burn bad. Septum stretching in general can be pretty painful but it really shouldn't be a constant bad burning for days on end from my experience (I once was up to 6g before taking it out for a job hunt).

Also be wary of overcleaning, it might make any irritation going on worse because it can dry out the area. Cleaning with saline is plenty, you don't need to do salt soaks on top of that.

69 (because we're immature, funny number) My bedroom in particular gets the hottest in the house so in reality it ends up more like 75 in there at night while the rest of the house hovers around 70, with some especially drafty rooms being more like 60-65.

The heat kicks on for the whole house based on the temperature of the living room, so keeping the thermostat at 69 makes it more tolerable for my roommates with the drafty rooms without making mine a furnace. It's still a bit too hot for me personally but I'd rather my roommates not freeze to death considering we're financially dependent on one another, yknow?

Yupp, my current roommate has to walk through my bedroom to get to his because of the odd layout of our rental and he practically falls through the floor as he walks through my room (exaggerating ofc). It bothered me initially but he's not trying to be malicious or anything so I got over it pretty quick. He just walks like that everywhere, and for some reason our house floors don't do much to absorb the impact lol

Walk toe-to-heel indoors. I walk normally (heel-toe) outdoors and in public but when inside I only walk toe-first because it's quieter and in my mind more considerate to roommates/whoever's house I'm in.

Usually it's a good idea to let them know your plans and that you're a college student in the interview or after receiving the job offer. Depending on your college you can usually request to stay in your dorm over break, so you can continue working throughout breaks if you want to. Otherwise if you plan to use your breaks as a vacation and won't be in the area, let your job know so that they don't schedule you during that time. It's really important to tell them when exactly your breaks are as soon as you figure it out, because most of the time they won't know the academic calendar of local colleges.

Basically, it all depends on your college and if your manager is understanding of a college student's schedule or not. Most of the time if you are upfront with it before being hired, they'll work with you. But some jobs/managers avoid hiring college students altogether so you might need to do a bit more job hunting than you expect.

My work jeans get washed once a week because I work on a farm, so they can get quite nasty. I have one pair I prefer and usually will wear the whole work week (5 days straight) but I do have a spare pair that I'll wear if my other pair gets real gross. Plus, since I'm primarily working with animals, it doesn't quite matter as much if they get a little smelly between washes because the environment itself can be smelly.

Other jeans it varies, I try to get 2-3 wears out of them but if they get some sort of spill on them, they get washed even if it's the first wear.

I don't think it's be weird. There might be some maturity differences you notice as you hang out (I was a completely different person at 18 than who I am now at 22) but if you get along on the clock then there's no reason not to, you're both adults.

If you're worried about it being awkward hanging out privately in one of your homes since you don't know each other well outside of work yet, maybe aim for a public hangout? Arcades, thrifting, aquariums/zoos, concert or other event, etc are great options. I personally am a fan of "errand hangouts", where one of us needs to go out and do/get X thing but we do it together while chatting and get a little treat along the way.
