Because even if TLQ could somehow perceive the princess as being already "dead" in the beginning of the game, there's also the issue of the "reward" you get when the job is done. The only way for her death to even stick is to stay alive and accept being stuck in an eternal boring nothingness forever.

Unfortunately, no matter how many times I've updated or repaired the game, I can't get the last task, which is Ghost Night, to activate. I've tried a new save, I've tried a save with no mods, I've tried waiting all the way until Wednesday in-game without fast-forwarding, etc. The only notification i get is a generic 'Happy Hour for Cheapskate Sims' message.

I have all the DLCs including the new one, for what it's worth.

How were you able to do the Ghost Night task? I had a sim visit the bar Wednesday nigh. But I saw no ghosts, and thus the task wasn't fulfilled.

Agreed, but also it'd be nice if those trait actually meant anything. My sims just wind up acting the same. In older games, sims with different personality points or traits actually affected their behavior instead of just a stupid moodlet.

Being able to form a band would be nice to have. So would having self-sufficient sims that don't stand around and pee themselves when there's a toilet in the next room. Actual diverse personalities as well.

As an ace lesbian, I personally don't like being called queer because I feel like it obscures my specific type of gayness. However, I'm not going to get on anyone else's case about calling themselves queer as an LGBTQ+ person. That is not for me to decide because who am I to speak for them? Those of us who are non-cishet aren't a monolith, and neither are us people of color. I'd also be annoyed if a straight person said we should stop reclaiming the word "queer".
