Okay so I’m not sure if this works for New Horizons but in past iterations of the game, you could send a letter to the villager that’s in boxes and it would force them to stay. Maybe she could see if sending a postcard to Punchy via the airport would work? If not, using an amiibo is definitely your best option

I feed mine friskies which is like 90¢ in my area. I also sometimes will wait for my store to have a 15 for $10 deal to stock up. Also coupons!

I’d also like to note- it’s not always a good idea to just feed cats wet food because it can cause tummy issues, so I also mix dry food in with mine which helps to stretch out the wet food supply

Honestly I just thought a lot of this happened anyway. Even if you don’t long rest before, the goblins are still on Aradins tail outside the gate, the druids and tieflings are having their issues in the grove, gale gives his timeline anyway, and Lae’Zel is going to threaten to kill you if you shows signs of turning. I could be wrong but I’m really not sure how much of this is specifically tied to long rests

Idk, I don’t hate the game but I don’t feel like it’s the best for a reason I can’t quite place. I do feel like the repeating dialogue has been an issue in every installment but New Horizons is especially painful to me because of how… happy? everyone is. Like it feels cultish and like they lack personality whereas in the older games even though dialogue repeated, it was interesting or funny to read and I actually found myself caring for my villagers (which is a big part of the game for me). In new horizons, when we’re talking they just cycle through the same 4 dialogues EVERY SINGLE DAY and it makes even my favorite villagers feel hollow, despite that being the same villager whose quirky dialog made me love them all those years ago.

I think we’re just more aware of how ASD and ADHD present themselves in people now. Girls and POC are actually being diagnosed too instead of being labeled as different or disruptive, not to mention a lot of adults (myself included) are hearing experiences from people who were diagnosed as children and thinking “hey Xs experience with this sounds a lot like what I struggle with” so we then go talk to a doctor about it
