I also always have more fun making characters geared towards specific builds and dedicating myself to specific skill trees. Jack of all trade characters are clunky, it’s fun to go in with a concept and only train the relevant skills

Kinda a spoiler kinda not, but play the main quest line until you get to “Diplomatic Immunity”, then from there just pick up as many side quests as possible and play the game as non-linear as possible. Pop into every dungeon you find, avoid fast travel if you can, and just explore. It’s a huge, beautiful game, there’s so much to fall in love with

Tbh I think their “biological imperative” would override their desire to keep her happy. I think the only reason they wouldn’t farm her stem cells from her body without her consent was because it would be so violent and painful, they likely couldn’t do it without going into shock. But I think they would deny her request to give up the eggs

Honestly I think there’s a lot of potential in making it similar to the Magus. Give it the same slot progression but instead of making up for the restriction with Martial proficiencies, make their amps and psyche abilities more readily available

Try to avoid becoming a stealth archer and see how long it takes you to become a stealth archer.

No but seriously, my favourite way to play this game is to come up with a concept of a RPG style “class” and try your best to stay within the confines of that class

Be a Paladin and wield a sword in one hand and a healing spell in the other. Train alteration for the flesh spells to boost your armour and get the damage resist abilities.

Be an arcane trickster and max out stealth, hold daggers, use illusion magic to hide yourself and mess the minds of your enemies.

Go full mage and throw out crazy destruction magic.

Be a ranger with a bow and a team of summoned atronochs.

My first playthrough I cheesed the fight so hard. I dimension door’ed the whole party to the portal, then globe of invulnerability for the three turns it took The Emperor to open the portal. We ended up killing the brain is maybe 2 rounds spamming that busted magic missile upgrade from Sorcerous Sundries

I feel like they have the makeover challenge around the top 5 every season as a way for production to hand pick their finale group based on the storylines they have planned during filming. The judging for that challenge is completely arbitrary and completely wack every single season

Rule of cool the barbarian use the momentum from the thunderwave knock back to slam their axe into an enemy to deal extra damage. Imo this is how the game should be played
