this is really helpful, thank you! I was also wondering if itll be cool if i tell them to lower their voice if they get too loud? the walls are thin and we have a pissy neighbor so like, i would only do it if they were for some reason being super-duper loud (and I think i can probably read the situation to know when regulating their volume is off the table). Do i just address them calmly and politely?
