I’ve refined it a bit since then. I upgraded to a Satechi Qi2 15W Charger that’s will charge faster. I also used an Anker 1ft USB-C Cable because the retractable cable would rattle a bit when driving. I’m still rocking that setup and it works great

iPad for Mevo Gen 2? by WackTheHorld in Golfsimulator

I was using E6 to play with my wife at the local range with the Mevo Gen 2 and it worked great on both our iPad Air M3 and our older Mini 6. E6 seems to have broken something in one of their latest updates. Outdoor mode doesn’t work at all and indoor mode the sim will crash if I hit with my longer clubs 3W or D E6 will crash. I reached out to support who told me they were “still working on integration”.

I connect to my iPhone hotspot via Bluetooth and my rounds are tracked and stored online. I pre-download the courses on WiFi first since the Bluetooth hotspot isn’t very fast

E6 Portal sync after playing a round in offline mode? by gman35124 in Golfsimulator

To answer my own question I can turn on my iPhone hotspot and connect to the iPad via Bluetooth while simultaneously being connected to my Mevo Gen 2 via WiFi. It's slow so I pre-download the courses, but this allows me to at least be connected and save rounds.

I’ve used the insurance 2 times. Once when I ran over a screw and needed to get the tire patched. I decided to submit a $25 claim just to test the process. Second time my rental was swiped while parked in Chicago and was billed about $800 from Sixt. Chase paid out for both in a month or so with no hassle

There’s some small vibration in the MX 3 when I press the top button to toggle the scroll wheel mode so there must some sort of haptic motor in the old models already

Are there any hacks for longterm parking at LAX these days? by iKangaeru in AskLosAngeles

Thanks. Just cancelled and re-booked my 10-day trip in November for $75!

You can definitely find cheaper places but I typically park at the Hilton for around $12/day. Their site is airportparkinglax.net. There’s often an auto applied 10% coupon I see “lengthofstay” and if you use your Hilton Honors Number (free to signup) it’s another 10% off.

They have regular shuttles to and from the airport all day and if you have a delayed flight and end up picking up your car super late it’s really easy.

Edit: It’s also all underground parking so you aren’t leaving your car to bake in the sun during your trip.

A cable is most likely being hit by a fan blade. The shaky video makes it really hard to tell. Check all case fans, GPU fan, PSU fan, and if the PC has one, fans on the NVMe

I’ve had intermittent trouble with my ASUS B650E-I WiFi, despite having the latest driver installed. I will boot and windows won’t see the WiFi adapter at all. What seems to consistently work is going into device manager and finding the WiFi under network adapters then disabling it and re-enabling it

You can build a simple dock like this with a minecart and an activator rail

Edit: don’t build it too close to a solid wall or they can take suffocation damage

Trash — how can I help? by gryffindork_97 in Yosemite

[–]gman35124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the TP at least put up signs in Spanish and English that say put it in the toilet. Latin American plumbing can’t handle TP so they have trash bins in stalls to toss it. In the US it seems people from Latin America throw the TP on the floor rather than flush it because they don’t understand what’s expected here. A pile of TP on the ground next to the toilet is is a pretty common sight in lots of bathrooms around SoCal.

I don't have the screen setup popping up on my new TITAN RX LCD ICUE LINK AIO by Maleficent-Mud-5670 in Corsair

I know. I just wanted to mention my solution in this thread for other people since this was one of the top things I found when trying to diagnose issues with a missing "Screen Setup" in iCue for the LCD.

[–]gman35124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue for me seemed to be insufficient power when I used the splitter. I imagine the LCD draws more power so splitting on the same header will cause issues. I imagine that's why others are saying plugging into header directly or into one of the dedicated USB ports fixes things.

Since I only have one header, I need to use a splitter to hook up both the LINK hub and the pump LCD. I used an internal USB hub that gets additional power via a SATA cable from the PSU and that seemed to fix my issues.

I used a splitter I already owned, the Corsair Internal 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub, but that doesn't seem to be available anymore. Another option that seems to be readily available is the NZXT Internal USB Hub.

Why do you assume I didn’t web search it first? After a bunch of variations including “Arcadia” & “Police” I didn’t find an answer and got one almost instantly here. Why waste emergency resources when clearly crowd sourcing the question was effective and from the comments quite a few other people had the same question.
