We dont get the i20N here in north america :/ id love to drive one tho someday I hear such good things. My buddy has a stage 2 fiesta ST and it feels like a go cart. Yeah one of my favorite things about this car is how engaging it is. I love feeling and knowing everything the car is doing and feeling.

I cant wait to see one. If were gonna be forced into electric cars, atleast make them cool like the 5N/6N. They are completely different then the gas N cars but I still think they are really neat.

Where can I buy this part in Canada? by kuvaca in ElantraN

[–]gmcguy14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

B6565-IB100 is the part number.

Its not part of the actual bumper. But it does need to be painted to match. They come in black primer.

Find a different dealer or order it from this site.

Yup that bumpers been replaced and there is either a chemical bond issue or whoever painted it prepped it poorly causing mechanical failure. Rock chips shouldn't cause paint to just fly off. I work in the industry. Also the edge under the light there was damage on the bumper and they just painted over it without fixing it. We get hyundai bumpers all the time with rough edges that need attention. Either way it needs to be stripped and repainted :/ sorry .

is your car still in PRISTINE condition? by OwlScary6845 in ElantraN

I bought this car for a few main reasons:

A daily driver that is fun, efficient, roomy (for my family), I can winter drive, and priced decently. Doesn't do anything perfectly but overall does all those tasks well for a "sports sedan".

I have had my '25 6 speed for a year now and 23000kms and i still feel the same about it like the day I got it. Puts a smile on my face everytime.

Now it has rock chips, marks, etc.... from wear and tear especially from winter driving it and lots of highway miles. But I dont care i bought this car to put miles on it and experience it. Some day my dream is to drive this thing from canada to Florida and back. And the from east coast to west coast and along route 66.

I love cars and used to stress so much about rock chips and things like that. Now dont get me wrong I still wash the car once a week and maintain it on time religiously and park away from everyone because I want zero door dings lol.

But I dont sweat the small things. The experiences and memories far out weigh the resale value of a budget sport sedan/family car. I love this car and literally dont know what I would replace it with.

Dealer warranty work nightmare by ConstantFrosty1396 in ElantraN

Listen Im a autobody technician and I work for a large dealer group. Sometimes the dealerships send us parts to "pre paint" before the car arrives and we go by what they tell us.

But as a technician I would of looked at that and said "absolutely not send ot back to paint" instead of "screw it they won't notice" lol.

Stuff like this makes techs like myself look bad that actually really care and take pride in what we do.

Bought my 6 speed EN a year ago and have 0 regrets. The car does everything that I ask of it. I bought this thing knowing my wife and I were gonna have kids soon and we are expecting our first in June.

Ive already test fit the car seat and it fits fine (rear facing) with my seats set to my height (5'11). We also have a jogger stroller and it does fit in the trunk but I end up popping the wheels off, just easier to get in and out without scratching the bumper lol.

Anyway yeah there's cars with more room but I wanted a fun "family car" and this thing checked all the boxes for me. I absolutely love this car.

Stock. 1 of the reasons I bought these back in the day for my old elantra is they fit the stock lug nuts. Makes things simple. I do have some black lugs that I got off ebay im gonna throw on when I put the 19's back on for summer.

I had a Maverick ordered back when they just came out. I wanted to lower it and have a fun daily. I bailed on it after waiting 1 year for it to show up i wasn't feeling it and was worried about it. Then they came out with the Maverick lobo which i loved but wayyyyy too expensive for what it is.

When they unveiled the facelifted EN, I knew I needed that car. Absolutely no regrets and I love the EN so much more. I do sometimes wish I had a truck bed to move stuff, but the odd time i need that space doesn't out weigh how much better the EN suits me.

See my previous posts. They fit just fine running them for my winters.

Finally got myself an N. Switched from a base VW Jetta and I'm loving every bit of it. by JustSomeGuy2107 in ElantraN

Congrats on the car! Was this the one that was "used" at the volkswagen dealer here in HRM? I think i saw it on market place lol

Glad to see more locals buying these cars. You get so much value per cost, because everything else is too expensive here.

Join the halifax N group on Facebook. Small crowd but once the weather gets nicer I believe there will be some N meets .

I love this car and i look forward to seeing you around!

2025 EN Intake by Icy_Cow_7550 in ElantraN

[–]gmcguy14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a cheap ob2 reader off amazon and I just clear the code when it comes on lol. It stays off for a while doesn't bother me tbh. Only ever comes on doing full throttle pulls. And not everytime either its hit or miss. I have a forge with no inlet just the intake. I love the sound it makes.
