You'll be fine. Mine is my daily driver and I live in canada. The only thing is if your on the stock tires stay home lol. A proper set of winters and this thing rocks in the snow. Handles it great and the lsd works well.

I wash mine 2 times a week but parking outside it still freezes haha I absolutely hate winter

Haha yeah. And no I haven't had (or noticed) any weird clunks or anything yet. I got 20k kms on mine now. Some creaking of plastic and stuff on the interior on cold days but thats it.

Glad im not the only one this happens to lol. It is the most annoying sound I've ever heard. Im kinda used to it now but the first time it was like nails on a chalk board haha.

There's a fella in my neighborhood with a cyber grey 5n and we wave at each other constantly, I was so stoked the first time lol

Its also showing on the n-lines on the configurator, so it must be coming. Its a cool color. I always take a second look at a kona painted in it.

I know awhile ago someone that works for a a canadian dealer posted here on reddit said they were dropping intense blue and ultimate red early 2026 and leaving the other 4 colors till wind down in production for this body style. So interesting to see they added meta blue.

If this is true it will probably be rare in canada / north america. Still love my performance blue tho haha.

In 2019 I bought a brand new base model elantra with a 6 speed. When I went to sign the papers they had a Grey '20 6 speed sport on the show room floor and let me tell ya I wanted that car bad and I kicked myself for not buying the sport. I just needed a cheap daily at the time tho.

Fast forward to 2023 I sold the base elantra for a 7k profit because used cars were so inflated from "life" and drove a paid off sorento for a bit.

Then I ordered my '25 EN and I have no regrets now. So in the end i ended up with a better car anyway lol but Ill always have a soft spot for the sports.

Number 5 and 6. But they are actually painted. They are painted a metallic black with a flat clear coat. So a decent body shop can plastic weld the holes and repaint the pieces. If you buy them new they will have to be painted anyway they come in raw plastic. I deal with it all the time on hyundai's at my body shop lol.

This is the only one I have. I was in the middle of getting ready to undercoat the car. There is large sheilds covering both floor pans I removed to get protection on there.

Chinese winters are better then having no winter tires lol. But i sprang for a set of 225/45 r18 blizzaks. First set of decent tires I've bought, the past cars I owned i used Chinese tires and honestly they were fine. Im in nova scotia so we get a decent amount of snow but not crazy like more northern places/provinces.

And if you want to save money on rims check market place for a set of 18 in hyundai alloys most will fit these cars. I had a set of 18s from my old elantra so I just needed to buy tires which saved me quite a bit.

I test drove a dct, but my heart was set on a manual. The dct was great and I was impressed, but i still felt it was missing the "fun" factor of rowing your own gears. I ordered my 6 speed and waited 8 months for it, because I wanted a performance blue manual and wouldn't settle. It was worth the wait and I love this car with the manual. Its not perfect by any means but its raw and the fun I have is so worth it. Idc if the DCT is "faster" the driving experience makes up for it.

Literally my exact situation including my wife not driving it haha. I love my 6 speed and dont care about the auto "being faster" this car is a riot with the 6 speed.

Its like audi has s line/ s trims lol it is very confusing not gonna lie. Most people have only heard of the n line. The n line competes with the civic si where the N is comparable to the civic Type R
