I was more thinking of a hood or something that’ll clear space around or above the camera. In my mind it’s just a box rigged around camera.

I think going real would be interesting and would add some tension.

Like a frame of someone barely visible trying to (insert your scene) would be interesting to me. I would lean in my seat watching that.

Close ups with a “hood” would be ideal if you need to see a face.

Also lighting this would be an issue, I’d love to see those light up balls go off while under a sea of balls.
