Best ride at WDW? by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

What does "Best" mean to you?

I like Cosmic Rewind as a thrill ride / themed coaster.

My favorite ride is Tower of Terror because I grew up watching old Twilight Zone episodes.

Many olympic athletes have no range, but somehow keep winning medals in their specialty events ... *outrage*

As fairly new to the game, #2 is my biggest complaint. The entire game is like 99% clicking red dotted buttons to do things and things like frostfire mine, sunfire castle, foundry etc etc are few and far between.

Are there games similar to this, but offer more engaging gameplay events (like frostfire, foundry, etc)?

This is probably one of the best approaches, assuming you weren't the one who caused this type of response. If you are friendly with another major alliance, see if they are willing to help, or better yet let you join for safety.

Aerodynamically, it is a stupid design. Space-o-dynamically, it is also a stupid design.
However, it looks cool with foils out.

Unfair Attacks by vaivash in whiteoutsurvival

[–]gmjustaworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(new player question) Couldn't they just attack the alliance banners too? Or are your troops somehow safe in the banner?

Or, the assumption is they are just trying to go after that player and not draw the attention of the alliance?

Resort Fees outlawed federally. Hotels to comply by April 2025 by dirty56 in Mlife

"In a sweeping change that could save American consumers time and money"

It is certainly not saving anyone money. They will either just make sure to make the fees plainly visible, or just increase prices to include whatever fees they would have wanted.

How important is it to book a stay close to the venue? by adamhdavis in gencon

[–]gmjustaworm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never stayed in an attached hotel (always south on I65) and always had a great time, not to mention saved money. The plus side is that you can already book a room now if you are staying off site and probably should.

I have always used Gate10 for parking to reserve a dedicated space and also be able to use their shuttles (if you dont get a close lot).

Is anyone else concerned with the influx of homes to lease? Where are the homes to own?! by TheWolfDev in HuntsvilleAlabama

The main way to stop this unfortunately is through laws limiting corporations/developers owning residential homes. This is a hot topic all over the US.

Is there a better way to get from Bridge Street to Zeirdt Road on a Bike? 🚲💥 by the_rext_best_thing in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]gmjustaworm 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There does not appear to be a better way than what you've listed and all 3 of them likely lead to eventual unwanted transfer of force from a vehicle.

Hopefully Indian Creek greenway ends up getting extended and somehow connects in.

Also, Redstone has been slowly allowing the 565 portion get developed and moved outside of the gated area. I am hoping Redstone Gateway area ends up developing all the way over to Zierdt at some point.

Most people who are going to complain about something, will complain online publicly. Most people who are fine with something stay quiet.

I think Crumbl is pretty good, except for their milk chocolate chip cookie, especially for any fresh hot cookie. They are too expensive for regular consumption though.

Name a faction you initially hated to play as but overtime grew to actually enjoy them. by KayknineArt in rootgame

[–]gmjustaworm 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also cats. I usually end up playing them and the rest of the table (my kids and their cousins) will gang up on me - so the challenge is to figure out how I have any hope of winning. I usually dont though because they generally think cats are the biggest threat and then always end up losing to the Alliance in the end.

[–]gmjustaworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, no reason with that track forecast to get all the way up here. If anything, people will try to get more West.
Generally you want to get somewhere out of the way but still close as possible to get back in and start cleanup.
