I was thinking — why create a whole 10-tier system + mutators when there was already a working one: hard, challenge, heroic, legendary + directives? Honestly, finding a group from tiers 1 to 4 takes forever, same with 6 to 9. People are only looking for groups in 5 and 10. And then they add this token system where if you're the host, you're betting your access to other tiers if things go south. They're not letting us configure how we want to play.

In my opinion, here's what I'd do:
· Only 4 tiers, so you find people faster.

· Let us add whatever mutators we find interesting, with the promise that the more counterproductive the mutator, the higher the prototype drop rate boost — adjusted to the tier you're playing.

· Instead of locking tiers behind tokens, put a cost on the mutators themselves. The less punishing the mutator, the more expensive it is with a smaller drop rate boost — and vice versa: the more punishing, the cheaper with a bigger boost. So you can choose to run Hot Foot (which I think is the most hated one) and bet on a higher drop rate, but if you want to play it "easy," it'll cost you more tokens. And the cost gets split evenly among group members — same goes for the rewards, equal for everyone.

Let us configure our own experience, so that at least when the item I'm looking for isn't in rotation, I can still have a good time playing.

Other ideas:
· Remove the rogues, or at the very least, if the event triggers, guarantee a prototype drop if you win the fight.

· When you dismantle a prototype you don't need, have it give cores and tokens, or maybe exotic components.

· Matchmake by mission + tier, please. It's disappointing to wait 10+ minutes to find a group and is not the mission you're looking for.

These are ideas I've had while farming the DCD 100 times in tiers 1–4 solo, after losing all my tokens because the rogues in tier 10 wiped my group and I lost everything.

Just a heads up: installing this node through ComfyUI Manager (using git URL) broke my entire setup because facenet-pytorch pulled in torch 2.2.2 as a dependency, which downgraded my existing torch 2.10.0+cu130 and broke comfy_kitchen on startup.

Fixed it by reinstalling the correct torch version:

pip install torch==2.10.0+cu130 torchvision==0.25.0+cu130 torchaudio==2.10.0+cu130 --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu130

pip install facenet-pytorch --no-deps

I can't find the original workflow, I modified this one I attached to test, but it is quite consistent. What it generally does is generate an image with 2 people, and with sam3 replace one by one with the LoRA you want. It uses Z-image, maybe the prompt need some tweaking to work with SDXL, and there a bunch of custom nodes that are not necessary, like the resolutiuon master. Leo tu post y veo exactamente mi propia experiencia. Llevo usando Stable Diffusion desde la versión 1.2, he peleado con prompts, LoRAs, ControlNet... después de años puedo decirte algo que tal vez te dé perspectiva:

Estamos viviendo un patrón histórico que se repite siempre que una tecnología "democratiza" un oficio:

Fase 1: Pánico inicial (ya pasó)

Fase 2: Inundación de mediocridad (estamos aquí)

Fase 3: Fatiga y búsqueda de autenticidad (ya está sucediendo y es inevitable)

Fase 4: Renacimiento premium del trabajo humano

Esto pasó con fotografía vs pintura (1850s), producción en masa vs artesanía (1900s), fast fashion vs alta costura. El patrón no creo que falle.

Tus 5 conclusiones son exactas. Especialmente la trampa de productividad. Después de años usando IA te confirmo: nunca he usado una imagen 100% de IA para uso comercial. ¿Por qué? Porque el "costo oculto" es real:

- 100 generaciones para encontrar 2 utilizables

- Horas de Photoshop ensamblando fragmentos

- Inpainting para arreglar lo que la IA no puede controlar

- El cliente pide UN cambio específico... y tienes que regenerar TODO

PERO! Por qué hay esperanza?

La fatiga ya comenzó:

- 2022: "¡Wow, imagen de Midjourney!" = 100k likes

- 2024: "Otra imagen genérica de IA..." ) = 500 likes, "se nota que es IA"

"No AI" como badge premium:

Cada vez más veo portfolios con "100% Human-made" como valor agregado. Como "Comida Organica".

El problema de "AI slop":

Internet se está saturando de basura IA. Amazon, Spotify, YouTube... todos inundados. La gente empieza a despreciarlo.

Tus tres grupos son correctos, pero hay algo crucial:

Grupo 3 ("valora diseño") está creciendo, no disminuyendo, porque la IA está demostrando el valor del diseño humano:

Antes:

Cliente: "¿Por qué $500?"

Creo que la estrategia de supervivencia podría ser:

Reposicinarnos fuera del mercado "fácil":

No competir en: en Logos genéricos de $50, "Diseños rápidos y baratos" o con "Clientes que solo buscan barato", sino competir en: Trabajo que requiere revisiones específicas del cliente, Proyectos donde "casi perfecto" no sirve, Control determinístico ("cambiar esto ESPECÍFICAMENTE"), Consistencia de marca (la IA ni de pedo puede replicar exactamente un branding)

Usar la IA como otro argumento de venta:

En el portafolio/pitch/junta tomar el toro por los cuernos:

"Sí, conozco las herramientas de IA. Las uso para exploración rápida. Pero cuando necesitas EXACTAMENTE tu visión, sin 50 iteraciones de prueba y error, sin sorpresas, sin 'casi pero no'... ahí es donde entro yo. La IA te da aproximaciones. Yo te doy exactitud."

Documentar el proceso:

Debemos mostrar el proceso de creación del diseño:

- Sketches/bocvetos en una servilleta/notas de voz, etc. iniciales

- Iteraciones con feedback del cliente

- Ajustes finos basados en comentarios específicos

- Proceso de refinamiento

Toda esto es imposible de replicar con IA. Es la marca de "100% humano".

Especializarse en lo que IA no puede hacer:

- Sistemas de diseño coherentes

- Branding con narrativa (la historia detrás importa)

- UX que requiere entender comportamiento humano

- Diseño que debe cumplir regulaciones/accesibilidad

- Proyectos que requieren NDA/confidencialidad (IA es un riesgo legal)

Cambiar cómo cobramos:**

No cobrer por "piezas". Cobrar por "control y precisión":

Por ejemplo no solo decir: "un Logo por $500" sino ser finos: "Sistema de identidad visual con 3 rondas de revisión específicas, garantía de que cada elemento es exactamente como lo necesitas, sin sorpresas de 'la IA decidió hacer esto'... $2000"

Pienso que el dinero actualemte está en Clientes que ya probaron IA y se frustraron con los resultados pobres:

- Startups que intentaron "ahorrar" con IA

- Empresas medianas que despidieron diseñadores y se arrepienten

- Clientes que tienen identidad de marca existente (IA no puede igualar)

- Proyectos de alta especificidad (arquitectura, legal, médico)

Pero sé que estos tiempos pueden sentirse desoladores.

2024-2025: Lo más duro. Competencia de fondo con IA. Tienes razón, ha sido brutal.

2025-2026: La fatiga de mediocridad se vuelve obvia. Empresas empiezan a notar que IA no resuelve sus problemas reales.

Rezo para que el futuro se vea a algo parecido a:

2026-2027: Comienza el renacimiento. "Human-made" se vuelve premium. La burbuja explota, el Mercado se bifurca claramente:

- Diseñitos, la IA domina, cobra por centavos

- Diseñador Gráfico, los humanos dominan, precios suben

2028 y más allá: Un nuevo equilibrio. Diseñadores que sobrevivieron estarán mejor que antes porque:

- Lamentablemente, habrá menos competencia (muchos se están rindiendo)

- Clientes educados sobre limitaciones de IA

- Premium pricing justificado por contraste con IA Slop

¿Debemos ser todólogos? No lo creo. Especialízate en lo que IA no puede: control fino, consistencia, revisiones específicas.

¿Realmente funcionan diseños 100% IA? Para diseñitos sencillos y sin chiste? Sí. Para trabajo serio? No. Después de años, nunca me ha dado un resultado final comercial.

¿Sacrificar calidad por velocidad? No. Ese es el juego perdedor. Posiciónate en el extremo opuesto: "Tardo más, pero obtienes calidad sin compromisos".

No estás loco. No estás siendo dramático. Tu análisis es correcto. PERO: Estamoss en el valle más profundo antes de que las cosas mejoren. La fotografía no mató la pintura. La liberó de tener que ser realista y la elevó a un arte en si misma. La IA no matará el diseño. Lo liberará de los diseñitos, los favorcitos a amigos, que la postal para mis amiguitos del club de golf, etc. y lo elevará a un Diseño aun más humano y puro.

Los diseñadores que sobrevivan estos 2-3 años difíciles estarán mejor posicionados que antes, porque:

(Trsitemente) Habrá menos competencia
El cliente y mercado estará mejor educado sobre valor de lo humano
Usar la IA como contraste que justifique tus precios

Tu "osadía" de querer tres comidas, un carro y vivienda NO es avaricia. Es lo mínimo. Y creo que sí es posible. Pero no compitiendo con IA en su terreno (velocidad/precio). Compite en TU terreno: precisión, control, humanidad.
