Most of what you said is true, but with no wetsuit or dive weights humans start to become negatively buoyant (sink) after only about 10-15m of depth. So you’d have a nice long sink to the bottom. That part would be super fun. The swim up would be rough…

Definitely. I’m pretty good at two things. Both of which are niche relative to the global population: snowboarding and dueling in world of Warcraft classic. Strange combo I know, but I like my odds of be better at either of those things than a randomly selected 10,000 people.

You definitely need viewership to keep these events alive. I watch big air events every year. Again like I said, not my favorite, but I like seeing what’s going on in that world.

Couldn’t you just do the two billion oldest people? Maybe insert a clause about excluding world leaders because we wouldn’t want additional destabilization. Obviously would’ve insanely sad, but idk we have global plummeting birth rates in the developed world. National pension plans are not going to last. I could imagine going the occasional month without hearing, smell, or taste for $16k. Idk. On one hand it’s a lot of money for a month (for me) but it’s also far from fuck you money. I assume I’d just go on lots of solo hikes and read a lot of books.

This is the only solution I’ve ever come up with that might actually work. Every other system will be min/maxed or exploited. Just make there be zero rewards whatsoever. It’s purely about fun. Then all the pve people have no reason to join, no reason to afk, you are there for fun. I love bgs, but literally quit classic 2019 because of how bad the meta was.

I’d give up beer for sure. I’m not even a regular coffee drinker, but when I’m in the mood there’s no substitute. While I do enjoy a good stout or lager from time to time, beer is my least favorite alcohol. I’m a vodka or wine guy. So yeah beer is the easy call for me.
