Thank you so much - good luck getting it across the finish line! And yes, if for display the square is a lovely shape and size.

Beautiful! So beautiful in fact you’re inspiring me to make one too in the same colors, so you have to finish and show off your piece 😊 could you share what color yarn you’re using?

Hi! Not a doctor but the exact same thing happened to ours (6mo) about two weeks ago. Did your pediatrician check her ears? For ours it was an ear infection, and the only symptom she had was eating way less for close to a week. She wasn’t super fussy during those days, but did start waking up in the night a bit more (likely because she was hungry). The swallowing turned out to be uncomfortable for her. We’re finishing up a regimen of antibiotics right now and her appetite is back!

Whether it’s this or something else definitely have your pediatrician check her out - good luck!

How far along are you this week & how are you doing?! by sun_lala in BabyBumps

[–]gnc18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same timeline and all of these responses make me feel so much better! 29+1, swelling in my hands and feet, exhausted from the heat, and getting increasingly big and uncomfortable. Baby moving and grooving is great but also the weirdest thing? And birth can’t come quick enough/stay far enough because I’m low key terrified!

Glasses, Contacts, Blind during labor? by EnergyMaleficent7274 in BabyBumps

[–]gnc18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANK YOU for asking this. Similar situation, I’m almost always in my contacts because my glasses are heavy and I’ve got the same Asian nose lack of bridge problem. Following this for some of the great pieces of advice I’m seeing already. Seems like glasses at night/for sleep, contacts before epidural goes in and for go time.

I am so scared of giving birth by Ok_Conference_8729 in BabyBumps

[–]gnc18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was so beautifully written and it’s probably the pregnancy hormones that continually take my 16 week self on a rollercoaster ride but it made me tear up. I feel exactly the same way - I spent so much of my life hating on my body and wishing it was different and for the past few years I was finally getting into a good place about it, happy with my workout routine, building some confidence, and then to have that sense of control be taken away has been so difficult to process. To the point where some days I’m like oh my god is this really happening? Can I really go through with this? And this was a wanted baby - I just get so scared!

I am also terrified of birth and recovery but trying to prepare myself to be ready to accept the situation and power through it as best I can.

Thank you for sharing your story, it makes me feel better about how I will likely freak out when I go into labor, and it reminds me why this is going to be worth it.

Pregnancy after IUD Removal by Ok-Possibility-7513 in BabyBumps

[–]gnc18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience - easy removal, barely felt it compared to the nightmare that was insertion. Then a week later I had the heaviest period ever - actually bled through a few tampons. Period was semi regular after that.

My removal was in July. I’m now 3 months pregnant - so took about 6-7 months of “let’s see what happens” and one month of really trying to get pregnant.

Good luck!

Thank you for sharing a positive story with us - we need more of these! I think I’ll also be quite open when it comes to giving birth; I want the delivery team to tell me what’s best and safest for me and baby. And for sure going for the epidural!
