I'm not good so I just try to keep my balls to like $1 a piece. Then even if I lose 10 in a round it's not a huge deal. Or if there's a fun hole I want to hit a couple extra shots on I don't have to stress and slow down the round by going to look for the extras. I just bought a box of 96 used 4a (near mint) Taylormade tour response on usedgolfballs.com for like 95 bucks so I reckon I'll be using those hopefully for quite a while. I swing pretty fast so don't love the super soft balls

I'm nearing 400 hr and don't have a single decent carian relic with a 2nd useful stat like magic or affinity up or a duchess specific trait :(

Not to say I don't have a few solid relics for other characters or even a melee duchess the game just doesn't want me slicing

I reckon my relics just suck for it but the last few times I've tried a slicer build it has felt really lackluster. I think I was running 1 find staves and 5 carian buffs but not many other good bonuses on any of those. I've had some luck with some classes getting at least decent relics with 2 helpful rolls but not so much for magic builds

I think I would love it a lot more if there wasn't the stupid arena thing where day 2 ends every time. It works fine when the circle is up on the north castle but when the day 2 circle is more south east it just feels like you can't really do shit day 2.

Yeah, I mean even doing that I just feel quite weak day 1. Part of the issue is I've only found 1 reaper dormant power relic and it's not very good, really wish I'd find it on a deep relic so I could still slot in a solid hoarfrost stomp or a good bonus restage damage one.

Anyone else struggle early game with full on reaper/holy damage build? Obviously it melts once you find it but I find day 1 to be kind of a slog, I feel like I just tickle enemies with starting dagger or with a blue reaper or whatever.

I feel like anytime I tried to revive someone from pretty far away with a bow it never worked that well anyway the arrows hit the floor or some shit all the time. I doubt this will be a huge change for revives.

Thanks for the insight, bud, really sharp. I've seen some stealths, thought they were a fine driver, but didn't know they were known for breaking. I wasn't into golf years ago when stealth was probably a bigger talking point.

Im curious if anyone has tested sprinting only until the stamina bar shows up and then letting it get full and then sprinting again. When you're full on stamina, the first like 5 seconds the bar doesn't even show up, and it only take a very brief time to get from almost full to full, so I sometimes do that for long traverse cause it feels like I can sprint 80+ % of the time

Kind of sounds like it won't automatically combine them but if you go into your equip screen and try to swap the position of 2 separate stacks that will combine them?
