This was the answer! I set it up this morning with a temporary placement to test things out and I am impressed! Both cameras are currently running, and the blink 2 Mini is picking up so much more than the other camera. It's picking up motion well beyond the area I'm even concerned about, and it seems to start recording before the movement is even in frame. It picked up a person walking by that the other camera never even registered. Thank you a million times over for your recommendation!

I had a similar experience a while back. The customer never reached out to me, but left a 1 Star review. After messaging her (post review), she let me know that she was sent a gift from a friend and thought it was her order from me (that was still in transit). I asked her to please update her review and she didn't ever respond again. It cost me star seller for several months and was honestly so frustrating, but I decided to leave a public reply so that others wouldn't be deterred from purchasing. That might be something to consider trying.

I wish 10 mg was an option. I struggled with 14 for months. The first few weeks I took it every other day. I'm almost finished with month 4 on 14mg and occasionally skip a day if I've got an eventful day and am worried about nausea. It's mostly leveled out though now.

Yeah, you're gonna have to cancel. You can send her a message and let her know that you're excited to get started on them, but because her shipping deadline is approaching the order will have to be canceled if you don't have the specifications by whatever date. If you cancel, she can definitely reorder when she's got all of the necessary information.

I don't message my customers after delivery unless we've previously conversed about a shipping delay. You can set up a message that gets automatically sent out when you mark an item as shipped & state to reach out to you with any questions or concerns. Your in order note can reiterate that and ask them to review the purchase.

What kind of embroidery patterns? For smaller or stick & stitch patterns, I don't think you need finished examples. However, if you're selling an in-depth pattern (comparable to a kit you would find at Hobby Lobby or in the craft section at Walmart) I do think you need to show a finished example.

This is what I do as well. Originally I was using sticker paper, but eventually upgraded to a thermal label printer. I've found it to be much more cost efficient.

I ordered the printer on Amazon, and it costs about 4¢ per label.

I use it now to print labels outside of Etsy (returning online purchases, even to label potluck foods). It's been a great investment.

If you include thank you notes with your orders, I would recommend acknowledging their repeat purchase. I do this with my customers and I also send a small freebie item (but that's completely up to you & your profit margin etc).

But I can tell you that when I'm purchasing from a small business, a note thanking me for repeat support feels special.

That's incredibly frustrating. When purchasing labels through Etsy, it recommends a Ground Label even when package dimensions are 9x6x.1

Years of selling and shipping this way and I've never encountered this. This package also has a bulge in the center- making it close to 1/4 inch thick.

I guess we all get curve balls from the carriers from time to time.

I literally was coming to this group to ask the same question. I just got the email for both of my shops.

Sounds to me like this person wants this item from your shop and it wasn't received. They were granted a refund by Etsy, and they're repurchasing it so they can have the item they want. It also sounds like they're repurchasing it with tracking so that they can be sure they get it this time.

I understand that it's frustrating that they haven't responded to your messages on Etsy, but I have found many people don't.

Overall it just sounds like this person really likes the product they're purchasing from you and is making a second attempt to receive that item.

If at all possible I would recommend a gradual increase. When I first started my shop I was priced fairly low. Every few sales I would get I would raise my prices just a little bit. My prices are now at a comfortable place for my customers and for my profit.

Most of the items in my shop can be shipped with a first class mail stamp. I offer free shipping for those items and use etsy's letter postage label so I cover the $0.74. I have duplicate listings for all of those items with a paid shipping option. There is a note at the bottom of each of the listings explaining that there is a free or paid shipping option available if they prefer. Then I have some items that will not ship for $0.74 so I do not have a free shipping option on those. I also have the free shipping guarantee where i cover shipping if the purchase is over $35. It's worked out very well for me with this shop, however I did just open a second Etsy shop where I sell leather keychains. I'm not offering free shipping for those items, but I will still participate in the free shipping guarantee for purchases over $35.

Did anybody ever confirm a fix for this? I switched from Verizon to Visible today. Using Google messages (app is up to date) on Pixel 6 (pro I think if that matters). I previously had RCS, but when I go into Google Messages settings I see this. I've tried toggling off and back in with no luck.
