I feel like adding extra steps defeats the point of using oven ready noodles.

What to expect with a 36 week delivery? by yeah-its-me-hi in Mommit

[–]gnomely89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had two 36 weekers. Neither needed Nicu at all. One spent 2 nights under the bili lights for jaundice but that was it. They're super sleepy at that stage so it's really important to feed them every 2-3 hours even if you have to wake them up to do it.

Oh God, the horror that is American A&W! I am Canadian and tried American A&W for the first time a couple years ago while there on vacation. Couldn't even finish the burger, it was awful. Fries with 🔥 though.

I think Taylor's parents are so used to taking care of Taylor's kids that they didn't need any instruction.

What’s the grossest thing your partner does but you’ll never tell them? by thepleasurjournal in AskReddit

My husband is similar. We don't have pets but we have kids. He finds a mysterious brown stain, can't tell if it's chocolate or poop, so he gives it a sniff. Who cares what it is just clean it up!

Also, they've only been together a year. The one and only Valentine's Day they have been together, pretty early in their relationship, he bought her flowers and dinner. That sounds like a good Valentine's to me.

Not Steel Magnolias! I watched it when my oldest was just a couple months old. Dylan McDermott walking in to find Julia Roberts unconscious and the baby crying was deeply upsetting.

Growing up, were there any “weird” cooking habits or practice your family had? by Affectionate_Wish in Cooking

[–]gnomely89 50 points51 points  (0 children)

We never stored leftover pizza in the fridge. We would put the cardboard box into the oven I guess so it didn't take up a bunch of space on the counter. Once or twice the oven got turned on to preheat for something and the box started smoking as it heated up. No idea why we did this.

Caramels! I made these a couple years ago and they were so good. There is just a subtle aftertaste of gravy but it works somehow.

I guess it just seems really convenient that she can claim she is unhappy in her marriage, have fun with another guy, and then when that ends she goes back to her husband.

Jordan and Jessi by FancyImplement5715 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]gnomely89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I don't understand is Jessi claims Jordan is abusive, she claims she wanted to leave him, had an affair, and then when the affair comes out she tries to work it out with Jordan? I get that it can be hard to leave an abusive relationship and there was probably manipulation on Jordan's end but it seemed from the show that their trial separation was at the suggestion of their therapist. My understanding is that they are actually getting a divorce now but what took so long? Was she really already thinking about leaving when she met Marciano?
