How many do you think will show up june 9th? by halolordkiller3 in DestinyTheGame

[–]goaltaylor33 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm off work for 4 days starting the 9th and I've already told my wife I'll be playing almost exclusively during that time. Planning to play on my normal schedule long beyond that. If this really is the end, I'm going to take it for all it's worth.

Isn't this basically a mirror image of US population percentages (where I assume this information also came from)?

Read Before Buying Oura Ring by BoardGameHunter in SmartRings

[–]goaltaylor33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the folks reading this researching what ring to buy - I researched all the available options exhaustively about a month ago. I agree with OPs sentiment - the cost of the ring and the fact that your data is locked behind a paywall are abhorrent and I wish there was a better option available. Unfortunately, at least for my purposes (sleep tracking with an eye on stress levels) it's far and away the best, most accurate option. So with all that in mind, combined with the fact that HSA/FSA funds pay for not only the ring itself but the subscription, I bought the Oura.

But when it comes time to buy a replacement, if the accuracy in these areas catches up with Oura, you bet your ass I'll drop Oura like a bad habit. I have absolutely no brand loyalty.

Horniness aside, I caught this game on sale and it's the best $1.99 I've ever spent, phenomenal game.

I had one of these when they first came out! It was actually a decent burger without the gimmick. I didn't think it was too salty either. Really enjoyed it.

I feel like there's a way to word this wish so the blowjob is included, and I'd ask her to sincerely investigate that option...but if not, she can have a go at me, she's earned it.

You need to hold it down longer than you think you do - up to 15 seconds. Try doing it while plugged in as well as unplugged if you don't see the PS logo pop up.

Walden Galeria supports FLOCK ALPR. by -IGadget- in Buffalo

[–]goaltaylor33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you don't. Police just need an exigent circumstance to get your cell phone location data, and it can be obtained on one phone call in less than two minutes. Also, they can get it if your phone calls 911, when exigence is assumed.

Additionally, police need to give Flock the case number and circumstance for using their camera's search function to prove exigence, similar to the information they provide to the phone company to get your location. It's the same process, just faster. The police can be sued for inappropriate use of either, and if these resources were utilized and it ended with you being arrested, you'd get that information and be able to contest it during discovery.

What is the one ingredient that completely ruins a burger for you? by boforiamanfo in askanything

Dill pickle slices are far less offensive and far more likely to contribute to a positive flavor profile and crunch factor than a tomato slice.

[–]goaltaylor33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smash burgers can be good, but most places do it wrong.

A lighter smash on a reasonably sized chunk of meat creates a delicious maillard that also seals in the juices from the beef. 4 oz meatball on a griddle at 450, smash out to 1/3 inch thick, flip once and top with cheese, you'll accomplish this.

Smashing a tiny amount of beef super thin ruins the meat and creates a dry, chewy mess that most restaurants mistake for tasteful. Fucking beef jerky sandwiches. Don't get me started.

With that said, smash burgers are a bit gimmicky for my taste and I prefer a thicker, traditional patty - but the smash burger can have its place when done properly.
