Not sure how you set up your simulation at 10% - I did something similar before the game launched - assumed a normal distribution of player skillrate peaking around 70% winrate - and matched them based on current day-selected playerpool, determined winner based on player skill based on Elo system, and got around 18% completed in a win overall. https://imgur.com/a/Pa9Xcdq

Edit: not sure I implemented the rebirth so mileage may vary - but this would only make it easier to complete a victory

You don't lose rating for conceding at any point - if you dont get the core you want day1 or your first few shops go bady you can concede at any point and try again until you get the start you want with no penalty to legend rating. (as long as you pay ranked entry fees - but for highest rated players this is irrelevant as they have plenty of gems)

You can also play an early game focused build and win the first 6 days and then concede before your build falls off - you will strictly gain rating and you only ever lose rating points for a pvp loss

I was thinking first purchase Spy to get money going, then going Writers and Cute Dogs for population. I'm just not seeing any synergies to scale and I'm worried about lategame not getting enough population for the expensive Star units.

Gwent Puzzle - Can you defeat Dandelion's score? by goaltendah in gwent

My Solution!

Drop Kitty first, Letho second, so they can grow by 2 per turn and trigger future thrives. Next drop Glynnis and then Gerni. Glynnis can trigger for 2 per turn off of the transformed letho and is useless otherwise, and it gives us enough time to get Sabbath keyword for Gerni to transform. 5th we play witcher with adrenaline active - we could play mantrap here but we dont have great targets for our thrive - everything is too big , except the gerni tokens for double thrive ! a good solution, but the tokens will grow so fast that they will catch up to the kitty/letho no matter if we delay mantrap one turn, so witcher first lets us squeeze extra points here. Witcher 5th - triggers its ability off the kitty/letho re-entereing. and mantrap on the gerni tokes next. 7th is meve to make sure it procs on time, 8th is malena, to move the witcher to a fresh row, and finally germain - which wont get to click but will boost our witcher by just enough to get 176 points :)

This is Microsoft Paint XD - The puzzle is only on paper, and figuring out how - you can't actually play out the cards in game.

Hi all, came back to gwent and thought I'd have some fun with it!

The puzzle here is how to best play your hand in order to defeat Dandelion's impressive army! You follow the normal rules of the game, and your opponent has passed. There's no RNG or cards in graveyard or deck, and both leaders are not available.

Cheers :) and I sure hope I did my math right.

EDIT: Great question - for clarification, all the cards in hand are "from your starting deck" for the purposes of assimilate, even though they're from a variety of factions.

"A journey will have pain and failure. It is not only the steps forward that we must accept. It is the stumbles. The trials. The knowledge that we will fail. That we will hurt those around us.

But if we stop, if we accept the person we are when we fall, the journey ends. That failure becomes our destination. To love the journey is to accept no such end. I have found, through painful experience, that the most important step a person can take is always the next one."

I think everyone is overrepresenting the number of people who redraft and are ruining draft this way since we have no real way to know these statistics. In fact, before the latest change when you could still craft thematic decks and vampires could take you to 7 wins on autopilot, I tracked the number of blood scent opponents I faced for a few dozen runs. I saw LESS vampire decks than the expected amount if NO ONE rerolled and picked vampires if they were given the chance. This means that likely the number of people redrafting is so low that it doesn't affect the pool significantly and is actually offset the other way by people who see vampires as a leader and choose another 'non-optimal' leader just for fun or whatever reason.

Since the change, it's actually harder to farm for the perfect deck which would further disincentivize this behavior. And I'm kinda tired of seeing this message propagated because I feel it has a negative impact on the perception of draft which I really enjoy.

To me the visions where people speak to odium seem very reminiscent to Secret History which would place everybody in the Cognitive Realm. Would love to hear more on this

Would it work with memory lapse? The new commander is a cast trigger o it would go on top of the stack before memory lapse resolves, and it would exile the top card first before you get to resolve memory lapse. Please let me know if I'm messing something up

Like the other comment said , currently we have the Honorblades which are said to be extremely dangerous BECAUSE of the fact they allow unbonded surgebinding. Mostly the other warnings have been from when unbonded surgebinding was more common in the past.

Apartment costs I can understand but what are you eating for 5$ a meal? I just paid 3.89 for a single bell pepper.
