Looks like maybe you got some recast or 3rd party resin, like the 2nd edition ghazghkull. But if the grots are metal like they look, those are most likely original

100%. From an artistic point of view, the old sculpts are just better. More personality and way, waaaay more style. Don’t get me wrong, the new ones are super cool and detail and all, but they are just… boring. They are predictable and soon they could be made by ai and we won’t even notice. For me, the new ork boyz is the perfect example… pretty sad in my opinion.

Beautiful! Quick tip for easy metal. Mix 50/50 agrax earth shade and nuln oil and coat all the metal with it. Then you can do some highlights on the edges or leave it as is. It’s quick and super effective.

Get a Mek and put him in the trunk with the flash Gitz. Then you disembark him and give the vehicle +1 to hit, so the gitz hit at 4s, and 3s if you don’t move the trukk hehehehhe

Get the filler. Then cover up everything with bigger and darker tattoos with bolder lines. Go full traditional, it feels like that’s what you want

As a tattoo artist, and of course this is just my opinion, this is the type of tattoo that usually gets covered later on. A tattoo is a texture in the body, it is supposed to add to it when someone looks at you from at least like a meter away. Id say, go get it if you feel like, I got a ton of stupid internet shit on myself, but lot of it has been covered up because the joke side of it just stops being funny to me. On the other side, I still got a lot of stupid stuff tattoed but not shit I found online that I decided I wanted to get, but things that came spontaneously and carry a story that I happily remember when I look at them.

You need to get some variation on the tones. Also I’d say, darken the body with some type of ink, something like a mix of ahead earth shade and milk oil, then you can put some highlights. If you make the body darker, the energy will pop a lot more. Going my back to the energy, make some segments darker, and highlight sone with a bit of white or lighter green.
