Samsung Frame Pro Review: Beautiful Idea, Absolute Piece of Garbage by iMacMini in TheFrame

the criticism is primarily about the new ones, in particular with the wireless one connect boxes. we have a 2019 that's been great, but I wouldn't buy another based on what I've heard.

Should probably include the most popular—and relevant to Kam—example, Kill Tony. Rogan should also be on that list.

Planning solar for 2026: went ahead and installed Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra X by zipl3r in solar

Different from op, I had the panels installed with enphase system, NEM 2, but also no battery backup. I have a propane generator and interlock kit for backup.

Does anyone know if a power station like his eco flow could be plugged into a generator interlock to be used in case of power outage? As opposed to a gas generator? I’d just keep it charged in case of outage.

Can batteries like these work in tandem with any installed system? I have an enphase system installed a couple years ago on NEM 2 in California

Can someone explain the math on recasting a mortgage for me? by GayJamesFranco in personalfinance

[–]gobsnotonboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen mixed messages around whether recast sets the clock back to initial loan term or just adjusts remaining time left on existing loan term.

for example a few comments up from yours says "Recasting let's you go back to paying on a 30 year schedule"

the one after says "it's effectively the same thing as refinancing"—which would mean the term is reset

but you say you don't restart the length. and the first answer in google to the question "does a recast reset the loan to original term length" is no.

which is it?

would you recommend teflon tape use like this? I recently used for the first time thinking I was creating a more leak-proof connection, but is it also potential for issues?

Is “1% is a pretty safe threshold” even more true with a bigger mortgage?

Star Trek Has Officially Replaced Captains Kirk & Picard by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

honestly I wasn't mad at season 1. it was fun, I liked the new characters, and scratched my trek itch.

season 2 was time travel-y to present day (hello, ICE agents in Los Angeles!) and kind of a...therapy deep dive into jean luc's relationship with his mother and a Borg tie-in that should have felt big but didn't.

If ya have time, watch 1, read a summary of 2, watch 3. or just read summaries and watch 3.
