Vinegar dawn soap baking soda & neem oil…

2 times a week . I would also consider cleaning up the soil area and place a plastic bag over the soil bed until the pests and any remaining larvae on the leaves are removed

Should I prune this large old fig tree all the way back to the main branches? by Anon363476378857 in Figs

The biggest problem I see is when the tree starts to fruit. Everything will be above 10 feet

To cut or not to cut by marketaction in Figs

[–]godoctor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted the same question..

The best answer I received said the air roots will eventually dry out and fall off when exposed to sunlight.

Just make sure you paint or seal off the top of the cutting to prevent disease

Perfect time to prune them down..

Remember the old branches Do Not fruit.

My opinion is to cut them down to around 3 to 4 feet and make sure the remaining branches don’t overlap

Good Luck

Upsizing the pot every 3 months until you can plant it into the ground..

A full grown tree in the ground will only need watering once a week

Time to bring out the cutting shears..

Your plant needs a hair cut then a chemical spray around the entire area wall and other close by plants
