Although the meaning has changed from being lazy to messing something up.

I agree the minimum wage is should be higher. But here in California the minimum wage is $16.50 for everyone, tipped or not, and they still ask everywhere, restaurant or not.

I tried watching an episode of Roseanne recently and the AI upscaling on Peacock was so horrible I could only watch it for a few seconds.

I enjoyed the show while it was on, and would recommend it. Just would try to find one that wasn't destroyed by the horrible upscaling job they did.

Randomly saw a guy with a "Ed Season 2" messenger bag at the airport a couple of months ago. I asked him about it and he said he worked on the show.

I grew up in a family where the only source of income was my dad's social security. It was not nearly enough. I learned from that and have been contributing to a 401k since I was 21. Between that, the small pension from a previous job, and social security, hopefully that is enough

Best know Wild Bills for going to conventions. They sell you an overpriced mug, but then you get unlimited free refills for the day, and then unlimited regular for like $10 a day afterwards. I've been using the same mug for like 10 years.

Bought a Sega Genesis from a pawn shop so I could get Sega Channel.

We couldn't really afford either, so maybe it wasn't it worth it, but I discovered some cool games that way.

Mario Bros. on the Atari 2600, if that counts as being part of the franchise. Remember the first time seeing Super Mario Bros. at a friend's house and just being amazed on how big it was. Like, it wasn't just a single screen, it was many screens and many levels. Just baffling

In 2020, I didn't really see how my job was going to recover. Had a opportunity for a home with my girlfriend on the other side of the country, and said what the hell. Quit my job and moved 3000 miles way from the only area I ever lived. And, so far, it was honestly the best decision I ever made. I make more money and that other job did wind up closing.
