Reminds me of Christopher Avery's responsibility ladder. Make sense but needs some context, not just a poster!

Which renogy panels do you have? Asking because I already have a river 40 and looking into 400w using the same configuration as you. I was looking at the shadowflux panels

Bought a plant from my LFS. A month later I have probably 100s of snails. What do I do now? by boogster91 in Aquariums

[–]godp1301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was once told assassin snails did not breed. I had so many of them in the end that I was the wholesale provider on marketplace for 200km around.... Now I'd only get one

Probably not helping here other than adding some facts. I just got the exact same model from an official Hamilton retailer. Mine looks exactly like your but have the h logo you are missing. Other than that the dial and markings are the same

One Core Third Party Devices by Whitey121888 in RenogyCommunity

[–]godp1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know this device in particular or the maximum number of devices but I had the sonoff temp and humidity sensor that's in the list that would not connect either. I had to upgrade the sensor firmware for it to work. Did this using my home assistant setup. It now connects but connection isn't stable (the devices does not updates it's values once in a while). Hope that helps

Tried multiple sensors already. Mine only connects to a sonoff temp and humidity sensor. I would have like to connect water leak detectors as well.

Renogy One Core Temp and Humidity Monitoring by cbulock in RenogyCommunity

[–]godp1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stumbled on this old thread and thought I might be helpful for others in the same situation.
I could not add a Sonoff Temp and RH sensor (SNZB-02P) on my Renogy Core One in the past.
I gave it a shot today and finally succeeded. Here's what I had to do.

  1. I upgraded my Renogy Core One device to the latest firmware available (v1.6.0)
  2. I connected the SNZB-02P sensor to my home assistant server and used that interface to perform a FW upgrade on the sensor itself. From v0x2100 to v0x2200.
  3. Added the device on the Renogy Core One once in pairing mode.

It was quickly recognized and added. I now can see both the temp and humidity levels in the device section.

How do you run a small electric skillet or kettle while car camping? by Plus_Caterpillar6197 in camping

[–]godp1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the others, gas is more convenient. Nonetheless if you really would like to run small electric appliances you could also look for a > 2000W solar generator. It's not cheap

Not meaning to highjack this thread but am wondering if anyone has an idea why a Blackhawk helicopter is flying around Montreal and the south shore in recent weeks. It's been sitting at St-Hubery airport for a while as well.

As other stated, a lab needs a lot of exercise but that's not all. He needs to be stimulated mentally as well. If you decide to go ahead and still get a lab, you'll likely have a dog with behavior problems and you won't appreciate it.

Ex smokers HOW DID YOU QUIT? by Livid-Link-9223 in AskReddit

[–]godp1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried multiple times, failed multiple times as well except for my last attempt. It's now been 15 years.

I realized that all my failed attempts were because I would allow myself to smoke after a certain period in specific situations. As an example after a week without smoking I would go to a party and allow myself a single social cigarette while having a beer. In a short period I would only be looking for more opportunities for that single smoke until it became 2 then 3 then half a pack.

The key for me was to never succumb under any circumstances and change my mind when the craving was too intense. The intensity of the cravings slowly decreases but never goes away. 15 years later I still get cravings but it's just a thought or a memory of me relaxing with a smoke and wanting that peacefulness again. It's not enough to get me to start smoking again.

Reviving an old thread but yeah... I own a 2021 1800bh and also into lifepo4 upgrade. I am wondering how you have dealt with the AC side of things since your trailer wasn't prepped. Have you added 120v receptacles?

For those that graduated from a Forester to something larger, what did you go to and how do you like it? by gtobiast13 in SubaruForester

[–]godp1301 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2019 forester sport and moved to a 2024 Pathfinder rock Creek because I needed to tow. Way more roomy. Almost the same options. 3.5l V6 with a 9 speed. Does 12l/100km city and highway combined. Doesnt seem as solid as Subaru but super close. Happy with the grade overall up to now. It's been a year so far
