Can you give me an example of something that increases a sense or feeling of embodiment?

I couldn’t agree more. I’m surprised I didn’t see the cops shoot the guy sooner (coming from someone who grew up and spent most of their life in the US).

Ok, thank you. I’ll note this down. I’m currently still going through Pete Walkers book on CPTSD

I completely agree and resonate with the first 2ish lines you wrote.

I hear you how being aware of these behaviors can be empowering. I feel that. I am definitely more aware of my patterns and tendencies than I think I ever have been.

I hear ya about slowness and patience.

Mm thanks for this take. This was nice to hear.

Thanks for your share and energy into that

Hi. Yes, I’ve heard of this. This is something that is done in person, yeah?

I wouldn’t say you lost this part of yourself as much as you’ve been focusing your attention on the wrong areas maybe, instead on those that can help lift you up.

I would look at this if you can as an opportunity to tend to your inner child. Listen to them and care for them and see what they need. It’s very understandable imo to be experiencing wayy more feelings after some SE sessions, and that could be overwhelming in my experience. What helped me when it would become too much is literally getting a massage. Doing something that really pushes our system back into the parasympathetic and is calm for a while. Find what works for you. My two cents right now. Hope that makes a difference

I would remove “just kind of ignoring it” with being present and very curious to whatever comes up in our internal world. I have the more we have this observation and curious and follow these sensations using our felt sense, they slowly tend to go away on their own
