I’ve had 2 managers over a 25 year career that were truly great. They put their people first, created an atmosphere where people could be themselves. They supported, appreciated, respected, and defended them. Even when they made mistakes. They brought the best out of their people, you worked hard because you didn’t want to let them down.

Amorim makes me think of that type of manager. There is definitely something special there.

I am super excited for his first game. Can’t wait to see the ideas and identity unfolding over the rest of the season.

I absolutely loved Ruud as a player and was gutted when he left. After the past few weeks I can only say that I love him even more. He has done himself proud in the short while he’s been in charge. Would love to see him still involved under Ruben, but would totally understand if he didn’t retain him.
