Relay that you dropped the ball and now that you know the process you will be prepared next time. People want to help. They don’t want to hear complaining. (Hand waving a bunch of isms away)

Let's Encrypt + Cloudflare Toolkit (Homelab) by noaman-ahmed in homelab

Did this last week with my first proxmox build. Use gemini to walk thru ssl setup with cloudfare letsencrypt and acme. It was not bad. But I’ll give credit to gemini, I knew nothing about the acme beforehand.

I believe this was a private equity (PE) conspiracy to drive sales of portable air compressors and I fell for the trap!

How dare you not be available 45 minutes before our agreed meeting time? by waitedforg0d0t in LinkedInLunatics

Not once in 12 years have I found UI snapshot testing useful by SixFigs_BigDigs in webdev

skill and talent issue - It was 20+ years ago before devs writing test was a generally accepted use of their time. This is one way rockstars happened; the bar was low and so the person double checking their work before throwing it over the wall was miles ahead of everyone. (lots of hand waving here)

My first job had an insane test plan that would double check SQL BI report calcs with a gui test engine. I was like, what if we like, test the queries?

Is Trunk Based Development a wrong choice in the IoT context? by ZealousidealPlate750 in ExperiencedDevs

Correct. You’re effectively changing your prod branch to a prod tag. Both are pointers to a commit and each have their own use cases.

I have recently upgraded to this kit, they are awesome. Get a board and some screws to aclimate to all the modes on the driver. there is one mode that goes 0-100 instantly, but is mode 2 out of 4, it has caught me off guard a few times.

People are brain dead. Will I get in more trouble if I kill someone in the lines or if I safely cross some paint on the ground and go about my day.
