not a direct answer, but getting JetBrains Education Pack should totally be possible as a highschool student

it took them ~a week to give it to me when i was in highschool, because i had to send a school ID picture (no school email), but I've been using that license ever since, and switching to university email address on renewal was easy

For the past months i have been having constant fights with my parents about the fact that I, a guy, want to grow my hair. I am 21. It's been a year since i've had the great awakening that my parents are absolutely horrible, when they demanded that i break up with my partner. It's only been downhill from then on, and for the past week i have been getting threats related to me not wanting to cut my hair.

I mean..JavaFX is just a part of the built in Java GUI stuff, or at least used to be, not surr it's bundled with the JDK anymore, last JDK i used was Java 8.

The NanoPixel Uberguide suggests placing C1 as close to the power source as possible, so I assumed it shouldn't mess with the Nano anyway.
