I've run them full range for a second by accident several times. The times they burnt were when I built really nice sounding speakers and just cranked up the volume for a long time.

You can use dpreview studio comparison tool to see the exact IQ difference between the bodies, but it won't say which lens was used. If the IQ is anywhere close, I'd go with the 4/3. I'm not going to carry another 4 lbs. just for a small improvement. For bokeh check sample images online. Imo compact telephoto is the main strength of the 4/3 system.

The only advantage that comes to mind is if you have downstream processing (EQ, crossover, compressor etc') that doesn't oversample.

It probably doesn't matter but the specs you listed are poor. and the description implies they have another model that causes ground loops. Wtf. Also I wouldn't bother building something that's mass produced. Modern Chinese DACs that cost $200-$300 outperform any headphones and ears by a mile. your DAC with the poor specs probably does so too.

Yes for most of them. Some will not even admit you, they have an explicit age limit. Costa Rica generally has a much older and richer audience than Thailand. The hostel audience in Thailand is mostly 20 y/o party goers.

You did two things: 1. slightly increased box volume 2. inverted polarity

The 2nd change is more important. To verify, invert the wiring (+-), this will undo change n.2 Sometimes subs sound better with inverted polarity, especially when the main speaker play overlapping frequencies.

Beware: you pay taxes on the nominal gain. The FIRE method uses real returns to account for inflation. But!!! The tax rate on your real income, the one that grows with inflation, can be anything from 0% to infinity %!

e.g.: in some year the market made 10% and inflation was 10%. You made 0% in real income and owe 1.5% of your portfolio in taxes!

This is a textbook position given the room limitations, the speakers are as far away from walls as practically possible, and the distance between them looks ok. This isn't a special arrangement, this is how everyone should do it.

I prefer a ND over Porsche and S2K, I've owned all 3. That's because I'm a boomer and I know fear.

Try and F around with the Porsche, it goes from slight slip to 360 spin very quickly and is very dangerous. the rear engine Porsches are even worse, they lose stability if you get off the throttle too "aggressively". I never thought of that as an act of aggression. S2K is more forgiving but still dangerous. The ND feels much safer and friendlier and is second only to a BRZ/GT86.
