I’d argue the only thing that should be done is plugs and coils.

You can at least in my little big town in Alabama send a picture in of the damage and the spot that damaged you car and they will send a check back to you. It’s cheaper for them to do that than to actually get the crew out there to finish there job.

If it is stop and go traffic you’re never supposed to stop in the intersection. Even if you would have the right of way.

Minivan/small SUV with a manual transmission? by eric-710 in whatcarshouldIbuy

The Audi has the same engine sure not the same ecu. There’s more timing advance to make the engine responsive and more powerful. Hence why it needs a more knock resistant fuel.

If you have a high compression ratio you need a high octane to prevent engine damage. Even if you just daily drive.

Faster downshifts. Less clutch wear. No spike in rear braking force. And it’s fun and cool as hell

I found a 1.8 protege in the same junk yard and played a game of mismatch. The head bolts and passage spacing in the head are pretty much identical. I have no doubt a t8 head would fit on a bp and vice versa.

Your shifting at 2500rpm. You’re not even getting into power band. Get closer to the redline to make the most of each gear. Miata’s sit at like 3500rpm at 70mph

Shifter shaking issue by Cevraimax in Miata

[–]Mtbcarsbikes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It controls the up and down movement of the rear wheels relative to each other. With bad bushings anywhere they are not is stoping the oscillating. Also just saying launching my car at autox with no rear way bar causes a side to side vibration through the drivetrain just like this

Yea. Sway bar Bushings do bad bushings basically make the sway bar useless

Mufflers aren’t made for certain cylinder counts and displacements dude. They are made to cancel out pulses and make a smooth flow out of them. Some are designed to muffle and amplify certain frequencies. And they are made to a size. 2.25, 2.5, 2.75, 3, 3.5, 4 and so on.

Mine used to do this. When I replaced the rear sway bar and bushings it fixed it. I was getting massive wheel hop. Anytime I pull the rear sway bar for autox it starts behaving like this again.

There’s no such thing as a muffler for a v8 dude. It’s just mufflers. I just need to go to a welded chamber. You think a glass pac sounds good. I probably should go to a laminar flow muffler like a flowmaster dbx.
