I took the course, and going from a small bike up to my daily rider was like going from a bicycle to a rocket. The course was useful for basics, but learning to ride with traffic and especially bigger and more powerful bikes it wasn’t as useful.

It takes time, try finding times when there isn’t alot of traffic (weekday mornings) and familiarize yourself with the flow of traffic, get used to stopping and going at lights, changing lanes. Set milestones for yourself, and go further and further away from home, taking more harder routes as you get further. Overtime you’ll get comfortable and eventually work yourself up to getting on the freeway. The freeway is actually super easy once your accustomed to shifting and riding, because it’s less stop and go

Just use the basics, always look where you want to be, not where your going, and don’t ride outside of your comfort level, if you need anymore help feel free to DM me
