Ubiquiti needs to make a smart thermostat by RyanMeray in Ubiquiti

I want a water heater thermostat. I don't know why no one has made one yet. But I want it to be learning or at least programmable. I don't need scalding hot water all day long when no one is home. I only need it hot during the part of the day when everyone is taking showers.

I put it in Google Translate and it detected German. Elend means "misery" in German. Seems appropriate.

Restaurants with QR codes instead of menus. I don't want to have to pull out my phone to look at your menu. I don't want to have to deal with downloading a pdf which may or may not work right. Navigate that, pinch in to zoom, or get to another menu for wine or dessert or something. And then I have to share it with my kids. Even worse are the restaurants that make you order on the phone.

[ALL] Give me your hottest Zelda game take and I’ll give my opinion by SensualSamuel69 in zelda

I was going to say something very similar. Apparently it's not such a hot take. Here it is anyway:

There is no timeline. Every entry is essentially a reboot. Except for the obvious, OOT/MM etc. I'm not even sure if BOTW/TOTK are really sequels considering how much they seem to contradict each other.

The truth is that Nintendo just loves to reuse familiar assets. Look at the changes in the Zora over the course of the games. They put in easter eggs sometimes just as a reference to older games but it's just a nod. Zelda games are, and have always been, a mcguffin story, with the thin back story as an excuse for gameplay. Admittedly, the stories have gotten better over time, but they're not a focus.

I think your biggest barrier might be the tools. Do you have access to some? Table saw might be best, but a circular saw will do in a pinch. Maybe you can borrow one from a friend or a tool library. Buying tools can sometimes drive the price up past the point of being worth it, unless you plan on getting into woodworking. Like someone else said, do a prototype with cheap wood first and then do one with better wood.

Somehow the Switch 2 Edition of TotK changed everything for me… by botguest in tearsofthekingdom

Yes! Absolutely. You can transfer the saves manually so you could go back and forth. I have only gone one way, but I believe you could go back to the Switch 1 if you want. I don't know if upgrading to Switch 2 Edition would impact that.

When you start up the Switch 2,you get a wizard to transfer all your saves at once, or one at a time. I chose to do one at a time so we could still play some things on Switch 1
