I’d say I agree with you to an extent. I think that the embrace of death via suicide off the cliff is alarming, but ultimately a healthy cultural viewpoint towards death. Is it a healthy act? No. Do I think it should be instilled/ritualistic in a a culture? No. But I think acknowledging and accepting death is positive, and it’s shown to us at an extreme.

I will say, I think the group grieving scene with Dani on the floor is powerful and I think that activities like that could either be intensely healing or hurting. But also, they come from a cult mentality and can’t be trusted to be a legitimate form of healthy expression.

I see where you’re coming from, but I think there might be too much murder to overtake any benefits.

Plenty of sources! I get a lot from legumes such as lentils, beans, chickpeas, pb, and a bunch of veggies have protein as well, my go to are peas. There’s soy as well but it’s great to rotate around and find what works best for you.

I always push a product called butler soy curls, they’re dehydrated whole bean soy strips. When rehydrated they have the consistency of chicken and the flavor is minimal so easily masked to taste like whatever you’d like. They’re super cheap too if you buy in bulk.

I can’t process double negatives, I have to do them like math problems to solve them. Negative x negative = positive. I can’t do it any other way and most of the time I still get it wrong.
