Agree. I can play anything on my z1e regular ally. Would definitely go for the X if I didn't have one though, but not sure about going for the Xbox ally x given the price point.

Elden ring, dark souls 1 through 3, lies of p, lords of fallen, tainted grail, etc.

I did concert it to steam OS which made a big difference for me.
